I interrupt a feed of food to acknowledge 7 years married to this person. Perhaps one of our toughest years. A constant process of being refined by the one I believe was divinely designed for me. I don't know about the perfect and simple love perceived in movies and instagram and TV shows, but real stuff? The legit messy kind? It is work, not luck. I am humbled to keep fighting for this, @hufort. It is good and worth it and is without question my anchor to this complicated world. (I wish this was my living room. My sisters stupid perfect home, @the_foxalow , is just the loveliest for a night away ❀️)

Fiddling with a pumpkin tart made with @kitehillfoods almond based cream cheese. This is the third one I've made in a week. I feel like I'm onnnneee test away from conquering this recipe quest. And I wonder why we spend so much money on food 😬

Helllooo dream plate. I twice roasted some sweet potatoes (per direction of @bonappetitmag ) then made a sauce with some plain coconut milk yogurt and the green harissa from the blog. Assembled with a generous sprinkle of salt, a few shaves of jalapeΓ±o, arugula, poms, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds and maybe this is my holiday side πŸ†

My favorite takeaway from my trip last summer with @CelestialTea was seeing and meeting the women who harvested the cinnamon used in Celestial Seasonings teas. I loved their calm, kind disposition, attention to detail and how hard they worked. This time of year, when cinnamon is aplenty in my kitchen, I keep thinking about those amazing ladies. No little thing is to be taken for granted, that’s for sure. #MagicofTea #ad
