Do you make, cook, or bake with persimmons? 🧡 I’m such a fan of the Fuyu variety. It’s earthy, delicately sweet, and much less tannic or astringent than the more common Hachiya variety. And sooo delicious in this rich, seasonal, almost egg nog-like cocktail.

    @abaur48 It is a FAVORITE cookbook. Elinor’s parents were regulars of mine down in Florida. I have every cookbook of hers. Her cookies all turn out perfectly. No frills or photos - just solid recipes. I’ve learned a lot from her books. Also, that Silpat was my favorite kitchen addition last year. I love the little spots to put your cookie dough.
