‘I don’t know how to share’- A statement creating ripples inside heart, for many of us. There are plethora of #stories
, we carry, bear the weight of, and won’t be able to do away with. We have never known how to be rid of them. So now they feel almost like a hidden #wound
. The more it is exposed outside, the scarier we would feel regarding the #pain
it would bring. .
We often say that when we enter into #relationships
, we share life, exchange #expressions
and become a part of each other’s #narrative
. Somehow, still we experience a certain restrain in opening up our inner worlds to the other, irrespective of the kind of proximity we have. Our childhood #attachment
patterns and dynamics determine the kind of adults we become. Hence, my will to be emotionally articulate as a grown up, may be suppressed by the ‘silenced role’ I have been playing for years. .
We do have physical pollutants all around us, what remains invisible to the naked eye are emotional ones. They do charge us to lead our life in a direction, we have been fed to follow. This heart-filled conversation of four women here, also touches upon how we often think that talking about my demons is equivalent to emotional ‘undressing’ which weakens my #strength
‘My story is mine, and I shall keep it that way’. But in this self-sufficiency, we forget that maybe the weights can’t be put down so easily, but a shared journey can help me bear them. We should be #self
-partnered at the prior, as #emmawatson
puts it. However, we can also unwind amongst our fellow beings, so they can be strong for us, when fatigue takes over our courage. Because it’s okay to feel, it is natural to be #vulnerable
