When I pulled up the fatty pic of me and showed it to David I literally said this....wait for it...you ready?...I SAID: “I was bloated that day!!” Can you believe that??! LMFAO! And I still think I was bloated and perhaps I was, but the way I let myself go is and was inexcusable! All I could say this morning, when I made comparisons, was “WOAH” My jaw dropped and at one point I just couldn’t stop laughing! And I couldn’t stop starring 😳 What was I doing to myself and why?! There was no need. I was happy and still am, but then I had the typical overweight struggles: shortness of breath, fatigued, small amount of fat around my liver had been accumulating, which I conveniently ignored at my doctors visit (she did say it wasn’t anything too serious but we needed to monitor it); I thought whatevs and didn’t go back, I ate without purpose (just because it tastes good-SMH), sometimes I would look at my plate and say “wtf happened to my tortilla, where did it go?!” Well I ate the damn thing, I was on autopilot, and didn’t even realize I had eaten it! Kind of like when you drive to work or drive home and don’t remember how you got there..well that’s how it was with me and tortillas and tacos. I’d serve them on my plate and then they would be gone, but I wouldn’t remember eating them 🤦🏻♀️ and you know what?!?! I was so full of excuses. It makes me kind of sad to think I let my excuses over power me for so long. Not anymore! Not today excuses!!👊🏼If you are trying to make a change it is very feasible. Decide and commit to the change you want to see. Every. Single. Day. What really changed for me is I am holding myself accountable! I had to open my mind and my eyes and I am glad I did. The pictures helped me see what I truly looked like and my daughter also took a video the first day we took measurements and when I went back to look at the video I was horrified. So that, along with my daily progress pictures and continuous comparison pics help fuel my drive and desire to keep going! My health and desire to live a long healthy and fit life are worth all this and so much more.
Is your success plan on a diet? Are you not getting enough calories in order to sustain success?
What is your daily success intake? Do you have enough carbs to keep the energy going?
Figuratively speaking, you have to over eat in order to be successful. You have to level up your intake of calories from 1000 calories to 5000 calories DAILY!
This is possible by who you hang around, what you read, what you intake at the beginning of the day, and how you execute. You may have to cut out the diet and DIGEST all that you can in order to get you to your DREAM.
TODAY DIGEST what you need in order to LEVEL UP and MAY YOU DREAM N2 REALITY!
Feeling bored or stuck in your current workout routine? Plateaus are part of the game–they happen to everyone, even on the best of programs. Nothing motivates me more than setting new goals and learning new skills.. like tossing a 100lb sandbag over my shoulder 👏💪
Back to journaling, but with this incredible view. I’m so on and off with my journaling, but as the Judgemental Detox calls for it, I’m back to it. Plus there is such power in writing down your feelings/ thoughts, especially writing letters to people that have impacted your life in any shape or form. It’s a release, like letting go of the negatives and the things that hold you back. This current letter is done, now to throw in the sea or burn?! - either way get it out and get rid, don’t just sit on how you’re feeling, it’s about constant growth and bettering yourself everyday. It’s great to accept, forgive and move on, but sometimes people are only meant to be in your life for a certain period, to teach you something, but if that brings in too many negatives and those outweigh your positives of keeping them, then you have to move forward, despite how hard that can be at times.
