I’m a huge fan of turmeric. I add about 1/2 - 1 teaspoon to my protein smoothie in the mornings, and no joke, it helps with my joint aches and pains. . Turmeric is anti-inflammatory (therefore the joint benefits), may decrease cancer risk, supports detoxification, may improve cognitive function (I thought I was getting smarter 😉), balances blood sugar, and may help with some digestive disorders. . Honestly I’m not a huge fan of the flavor of it, especially in my morning smoothie, but the benefits out way that for me. Let’s be real, not everything is going to taste like pizza, cookie dough and chocolate cake. . Although I bet adding this to chocolate cake would give it a nice little kick🤔. . Don’t be fooled, a sclera contact is not easy to get into a makeup and fake blood covered eye, but they is mah fave🖤 Also, sorry the vid just cuts off at the end there. Turmeric Egg Sandwich for breakfast this morning 😍🙌🏻 These might be the most unattractive eggs I’ve ever made but also the tastiest 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ Toasted up two slices of organic sourdough + two eggs paired with a scoop of @furtherfood turmeric tonic + allllll the mashed avo you’d ever need 😎 I mean, is it really a breakfast sandwich without avo?! Not in my book 😜 I added turmeric which has been a favorite of mine for the last year or so. When I was in the midst of marathon training and my joints were not loving me (😅 ), someone through my stories actually recommended taking turmeric because it’s supposed to be anti inflammatory! Now I’m not a doctor or dietitian so this is just my personal experience but I’ve been hooked ever since! Chili* receta abajo⬇️ Creo que los frijoles no me cansan, siempre encuentro mil recetas diferentes en dulce o salado deliciosas y esta receta de chili no fué la excepción, ahí les va, es para 2 personas aprox. ⬇️Ingredientes: 1taza de agua 1 Cebolla morada picadita 3 dientes de ajo picados 1 jalapeño picadito 1 pimiento rojo picado 2 varitas de apio picadas 1 taza de cilantro picado 2 tazas de kale picado 1 1/2 C. Comino 2C.Paprika Pimienta 2C Chili powder 1 1/2 c.canela 2t. salsa de tomate 1cm Chocolate *opcional 3C. Catsup 1C. Mostaza 1C. Humo líquido *opcional 2 tazas de frijol negro en bola y con caldo 1 tofu *opcional . . In my opinion, one of the little secrets of Italian cooking is their slightly sly use of butter; in my experience good Italian cooks often sneak a spoonful or two into their recipes along with copious amounts of peppery olive oil. When I came across this garlic-chile pasta with lots of pecorino, black pepper and the magic ingredient, butter --- a recipe from Gabrielle Hamilton in the New York Times --- I couldn’t resist. Pásate por mis stories o las de Julia para saber un poquito más ❤️. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ingredientes (para 5): 🍁 900 g calabaza, 4 patatas medianas, 5-6 tbsp curry, 400 ml caldo de verduras, 1 puñado pipas de calabaza, 1 lata de leche de coco. AOVE y sal. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Lavar y cortar la patata y la calabaza en trozos de tamaño similar. Precalentamos el horno a 150°C. En una bandeja con papel de horno colocamos la calabaza con el curry, mezclamos bien. Añadimos una gotita de AOVE, y horneamos durante 45'. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Mientras tanto cocemos las patatas en una olla. Cuando la calabaza esté lista, la traspasamos a la olla con las patatas y añadimos el caldo de verduras. Dejar cocer durante unos 10' hasta que la calabaza esté tierna. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Mientras en una sarten tostamos las pipas de calabaza. Batir. Añadir y mezclar la leche de coco. Agrega las semillas para darle un toque crujiente y listo 🌱 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🇺🇸 Ingredients (for 5): 🍁 900 g pumpkin, 4 medium potatoes, 5-6 tbsp curry, 400 ml vegetable broth, 1 handful pumpkin seeds, 1 can of coconut milk. EVOO and salt. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Wash and cut the potato and pumpkin into pieces of similar size. Preheat the oven to 150 ° C.
