Some weeks or months I’m more into running, yoga, or working out in the gym and that’s okay too.
I’d rather do workouts that I love and make me want to push myself than ones that I dread and procrastinate doing.
I’ve gone hiking everyday except for one day over the past week. I almost skipped today but I love the feeling I get after a good sweaty hike. So I got up and went early and have felt energized since.

I can't believe it's WEEK 6, were coming to a close on this challenge and these past 3 days I've mentally been out of the zone and super stressed about all my exams before my week break next week but tonight I got my booty to spin class tonight and it felt AMAZING 🙌🏼 the high intense cardio was exactly what I needed to clear my mind of all those thoughts holding me back and set my intentions for the home stretch of this challenge. Decided to not do the studio today since Spin class was 30 min HITT on the bike and then 20 min total core and ohmy those baby abs were on 🔥 also catch me repping some type of Canada merch everyday for the next bit cause I'm just so damn proud of this country and what our athletes are accomplishing 🇨🇦 .

refers to it an evolution Tuesday post for you today! The picture on the left was taken 2 years ago at my dads retirement celebration. The picture on the right is from the Chase Rice concert this last Saturday. I remember taking the picture on the left and feeling so embarrassed to post it, but it was the only picture I had from my dads celebration. So I spent time editing and trying make myself look better and my face look slimmer. Fast forward to this last Saturday when I went to post this picture and feeling so incredibly proud of myself. I have noticed my pants fitting a little looser lately and overall just feeling healthy, but there is a new kind of affirmation that comes when you look at a picture and you don’t want to change anything about it! I’m finally feeling like I am back in a great workout and tiu approved eating routine. When I have pizza on a Friday night with friends or a mini Reese’s cup after school when I’ve had “one of those days” I no longer feel bad about it. I know that those things will not turn back all of the hard work I have been putting in. I have been sick these last few days so have kept my meals clean, but haven’t been working out. This time last year I was so worried that I would lose any progress I made, but I know now that the consistency is key and if I take a few days off to let my body get better that will be ok! I hope everyone is having an amazing week so far!

I LOVED today's Toning Moves!! So much so that I wanted to save the set here for future reference. This week I started doing 30 seconds of jumping jacks between each move, not for the cardio but for my lymphatic system. Gotta keep it flowing!! I dry brush every morning, but wanted to add the jj's for additional flow.
