This game changer reminds me so much of myself when I was teaching everyday. He is full of energy, creativity, musicality, and intelligibility. Let’s not even expound upon his speaking delivery! I am excited to have met you, Michael Bonner, and I can hardly wait to see what’s next for you! #RCA #Bonnerville #NC #Teacher #Male #Black #inspiration

Noblesville holds a dear spot in the heart of ScreenBroidery. It was the home of the first ScreenBroidery store, many of our high school interns are Noblesville Millers, and many community members have become our friends.
It breaks our heart when innocent students & teachers are faced with this tragic situation.
In these tinder moments of sorrow we want to shine a limelight on our communities Superman, Jason Seaman. Without a heroic teacher present, it’s unclear what events might have transpired. But one thing that is clear is that Noblesville will bounce back and have a bond deeper than ever before. Let’s bring this community together and shine a beam of light that brightens this dark moment time.
You can show your support for your community, school, teachers, hero, & victims with this Noblesville Strong shirt. ALL proceeds will go to Jason Seaman and the victims involved with this tragedy.
We are #NoblesvilleStrong

As a mom, my free time is scarce (if I have any at all!) so I don't have time to drive to a gym, find childcare, and plan an effective workout for myself. Thank goodness I have a whole "Netflix of workouts" to rely on. Instead of a 10 to 15 minute drive each way to the gym, I walk 10 to 15 seconds to my living room. Instead of having to figure out my own workout plan, I use one already designed by a supertrainer. Drop a clock ⏱ emoji below if your time for exercise is super limited too!
Not going to lie, I get all my modeling tips from them. 3-day weekend, here we come!
There was a shooting today in the Indiana middle school which the daughter of an old friend of mine attends. A teacher, yet again, stepped up and is being hailed as heroic- AS HE SHOULD BE- but I keep seeing these enthusiastic headlines about teachers literally saving kids’ lives and I fear we’re so thirsty for good news we’re missing the subtext which is:
THERE ARE SCHOOLS CONTINUING TO BE SHOT UP.
Good God, this man deserves all of the praise and then some, but we’re racking up these stories- the ones of the stranger or the student or the teacher who took down the gunman- and I worry about the effect it is having on us. I love the Mr. Rogers story about his mother telling him to always look for the helpers, but I’m terrified that we’re getting so used to feeling uplifted by reading of the helpers in these shootings that we’re being hoodwinked into the normalization of how these shootings continue to occur.
👏🏽IT IS NOT NORMAL FOR TEACHERS AND STUDENTS TO BE CONSISTENTLY STEPPING INTO THE LINE OF FIRE.
👏🏼IT IS NOT NORMAL FOR STUDENTS TO BE QUOTED AS SAYING HOW MANY MORE VICTIMS THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN IF NOT FOR THAT HEROIC ACT.
👏🏾IT IS NOT NORMAL FOR US TO BREATHE ANOTHER COLLECTIVE SIGH OF RELIEF THAT TEACHERS ARE PROTECTING OUR CHILDREN FROM DEATH.
👏🏻THESE THINGS ARE NOT NORMAL.
So, for the literal love of God, give thanks for the adults and children who step into the unimaginable, and perform feats most of us don’t know if we’d actually perform if we were in their shoes. But for those of us who are teachers and for all of our children, we just seem to be coming across more and more opportunities to put ourselves and our children to the test.
Look for the helpers and heroes. CELEBRATE and give thanks for them. But continue to fight like hell against the normalization that threatens to deceive us into softening the horror that THERE WAS ANOTHER SCHOOL SHOOTING, and that it is becoming a reality we’ve honestly stopped being shocked by.
I love my sisturr so much ... happy saturday peep.....
