How many of you have stopped and started trying to be consistent in a healthy lifestyle? Well let me share something I read about starting and stopping. When you think about slacking on your routines, think about the huge cost of inconsistency. Example: a hand pump water well. You start and pump hard, but then give up when you don’t see water. Those that continue to pump and see a little bit of water quit too bc they are not satisfied with that little bit. But those that go further, get a steady stream of water. Now you no longer need to pump as hard and it gets easier, you just have to pump consistently. But what happens if you stop? You go back to square one. Winning the race is about pace. Keep consistent with positive habits and behaviors so you don’t have to go back to square one. Just a little everyday so you don’t lose that momentum. That little bit every day will compound into big results, trust the process.

When your little one joins in on your team call and doesn’t go to sleep until after 10 pm (party animal😒) and then decides she’s going to get up before 6 am....let’s see how today goes! She was pretty content this morning, she had breakfast, played with toys and had a diaper change all during my 29 minute workout (that probably took about 50 minutes). But that’s the way it goes. • Yesterday while listening to a podcast, I heard something that was a much needed reminder for me from Brian Tracy (if you haven’t read any of his books or listened to him, he’s AMAZING!). He was talking about years ago when he met a young woman who in his words “was really messed up” and credited her mom not paying attention to her when she was reading the paper when she was younger....she would ask her to leave her alone so she could read. He noted what a profound impact that had on him and because of that encounter, he always stopped what he was doing to pay attention to his kids, stating no newspaper was more important than his kids. How many of us have been guilty of this?! Ouch! I know I sure have, but it’s SO incredibly true. When you think about what’s most important in your life.....are your actions reflecting those priorities? This was definitely a wake up call and a good reminder for me!! I may have to hit pause all throughout my workout, but they are a huge reason why I’m doing these workouts, why I keep going day after day....so reminding myself of that why and what’s MOST important makes all those extra pauses worth it.😊

I decided to make my workouts about an offering to the Father not about the physical byproduct (but hey I ain’t mad about that 😆)I am not perfect and at times I lose sight of that but I am always brought back to this place of surrender. ... Think about it, if I take care of my physical health along with my emotional, spiritual and mental, I am in prime shape to do what He calls me to do. 🤔 I can help others achieve this too so that they might go and do as He directs. Maybe He will call you to the mission field. Maybe He will call you to work with a charitable cause... I don’t know, He does. But I do know that this body is a gift, the ability to move it is a gift and I don’t want my gift to go to waste... if this sounds crazy to you, I encourage you to read the book “Every Body Matters” by Gary Thomas. • 35 WEEKS • I’m officially slowing down. If I walk too far or do too much during the day the ol PGP (pelvic girdle pain) kicks in later that night or the next day. This little session took about 15 minutes and was enough to lighten my mood and maintain some strength. It’s important to focus on quality over quantity when it comes to exercising when pregnant. 3 rounds of: •500m row •15 wall ball sits •15 dead lifts •15 bicep curls - tube •20 inclined push ups - 10 ea side. Simple and easy, perfect for the third trimester and when you know you need to just get moving. My current water group is kicking butt! I love hosting these groups because it keeps me accountable as well. Yesterday I drank 150 ounces of water!! I felt pregnant again when I had to wake up in the middle of the night to pee😂. One habit I’ve adapted is drinking 30 ounces of water before enjoying my first cup of coffee☕️.

I didn't feel like working out today at all, my heads been a mess and I've had anxiety like crazy the last week but I just thought about my 100 workouts by December 31st deadline and didn't want to fall behind. There something pretty cool about finding people that “get” you 💕 . I have always been a hard worker and a type A personality. I’ve worked job since I was a teenager, earned my money, and had a great work ethic that I learned from my parents. I grew up living a certain lifestyle and knew that I wanted to work hard to earn a great living so that I could live that same lifestyle when I was on my own and would eventually start my own family. . I’ve never had a problem with being a busy person. I like to take on a challenge, so when I found out about the opportunity to earn money in my spare time using social media… I went for it. In the beginning a lot of my friends and family judged me for it. They probably thought it was a fad, or a pyramid scheme, or something that I would quit like all of their other friends had. . I stopped caring about what other people think about me years ago. If you think I’m weird for sharing on social media and trying to help people get healthy, that’s OK. But I have aligned myself with other hard-working, ambitious people that see this opportunity as well. And that is freaking awesome. . They say that you’re the sum of the five people that you hang out with the most, and I’m very lucky to be surrounded by successful entrepreneurs that have created a legacy for their family. Women that put themselves out there in hopes to just inspire one person to get off the couch today. Women that are mothers, work full-time, and still find the energy to wake up at 5 AM to do a work out. . I like to be surrounded by kick ass people. Want to join us, there’s plenty of room to join this tribe. 💕

I went back and forth with myself if I wanted to do the shift or A wod today.... I just knew I wanted to be outside. I opted for shift #wod and used what I had which was a 15lb db and a 4 inch step for jumps. Felt like I could have went heavier on db wt then I watched the video and wasn't so sure. Wt felt light. Video is sped up so looks like I was bending my knees a lot... maybe more than I should have.... hard to tell. 🤔 10 rounds 6 db push press right side 6 db push press left side 6 jumps onto step 7:38

I’m a little late for transformation Tuesday, but here goes....last month I shared my before pictures for the new program that I’ve been doing. The program is just 4 days/week for 30-40 minutes. I’ve been adding in running on 2 of my “off days” because I love it!!😍 I’ve probably been a little closer to 70% healthy and 30% indulgent....enjoying ice cream, pizza and chocolate.....oh, and Chick Fil A😬. The program itself actually includes a “treat” day in the plan, but I definitely stretched that a little! • Honestly, I was really happy with my before pic, so I really wasn’t looking to lose weight. My goals are to gain strength ✅, have more defined abs (work in progress) and improve my running speed✅ (as a byproduct). So, I’m really happy with where I am at the halfway point. In the second half of this program, I really want to do better with my nutrition and be closer to 80/20....but I still want to enjoy treats from time to time....because cutting everything out just isn’t how I want to live. • If you’re looking for a program that is super flexible, that is easy to stick to, that will help you tone up, that’s not super restrictive and if you’re someone that gets bored easily...then this program is for you!! I have a new Fit Club starting on Monday! Are you in?!
