The Diaries of a Faceless Lifter: 90 Days.
90 days of "I love you". 90 days of repeating "it's ok". 90 days of overwhelming support. 3 months of new daily consistencies is what it took to START to see a difference; to START to F E E L a difference.
Within all of this is a lesson. A lesson that came at a tall price. A lesson that takes a persistent and continued effort. A lesson that can't be taught.
It doesn't matter what you look like. It doesn't matter what you do. It doesn't matter how you train. It doesn't matter how lean, jacked, or curvy you get. If you don't love who you are now, changing your diet, your workout, or your body, will not make you appreciate yourself any more than you do in this present moment. It will give you a sense of control, but it will not create love. Maybe for some people it does. Maybe for some people it creates freedom. But for me, it became a bottomless pit.
Wear booty shorts, the latest gym style, or baggy sweats.
Do your make up or don't.
Style your hair, get hair extensions, shave your head, wear a hat, or leave that mop a mess.
Pay for breast augmentation or embrace what you have now.
Train and eat for curves or a sick chest split.
Follow a rigid training plan or wing it.
It doesn't matter.
As long as you are healthy.
As long as you are happy.
As long as you love yourself;
And I mean, TRULY L O V E YOUR S E L F.
Then you're doing it right 🙌🏻!
And in the process, please remember.
Do not judge ANYONE else 🙅!
They get to eat, train, and look a certain way too!
You are NOT less than anyone else.
But you are also NOT better than anyone else!
If someone is boldly arguing that being ripped 24/7 and counting macros is the life, smile and be happy for their accomplishments, but remember that it's ok to keep loving your body however it is now. You don't need to start a debate with them. Don't tell them they're wrong. Don't tell them that there's more to life. They have found their happiness, and you have yours. Just keep whispering "I love you" and send a warm smile inside 💜😊✌🏻️.
I am the lucky one 🎶 👻 #friends #family #workmom #support #thankyou
