[HELP] Hi, my name is Nadine. I'm a recovering "I don't need help I will just figure it out" kinda gal. I've been uncomfortable receiving and asking for help as long as I can remember, but if you know me well I’m a mad giver of help and kindness - just not a receiver - it goes against my grain for some reason. And something that many of you no doubt can resonate with. BUTTTTTTTT times are changing 💙 ... Just like an onion, layers of my stubborn self have been peeled back the last few weeks and I have begun to slowly learn how to receive support, help and love. Because guess what - I f’n needed it. We needed it. We couldn’t do it all ourselves. And it has been life changing. I also started to understand that for those that supported me they actually found it just as rewarding, I stepped outside of my comfort zone and slowly began to accept the offerings from friends and family .... And then, I actually began to ask people for what we needed more specifically and I am so proud of myself for doing that 💙 ... Asking for help doesn’t devalue you who you are in any way, it doesn’t show you’re weak, it shows you’re human and sometimes we all need a little helping hand. To me more recently; help from those we could truly trust and rely on has meant enabling us to move forward in our struggles, connect meaningfully with those very people to a whole new level, bolstered our resilience through some f’n tough days, and just when we felt like we were struggling to stay afloat more breathing room to hone in on the necessities for our little family....Like anything in life, with competing priories often at the forefront of a crisis or challenge; help in various ways, has allowed us to focus on what’s important and navigate us through life’s rocky but god-damn beautiful shores. ... Beltless as usual since I actually want to grow my lower back, and yes i'm afraid of hurting myself, which in my view is just a constant reminder that your form and focus has to be on point each and every rep. I moved to a top/down approach as I tend to be drowned after the first set and this also allows me to work at a higher intensity, not a movement where I ever will go to failure, just a movement where I need to put 100% effort. Next week i'll go for 190 kg x 5-6, hopefully by the end of this cut I can RDL 4 plates, that would be sweet. Down another 0,7 kgs this week, I expect to stay consistently below 93 kgs over the next days. Another Physicians Assistant is Thriving!❤ My name is Lynn Harsh... and this is my Two-Year Thrive Experience. I am a 55-year-old retired US Army Special Forces Medic, a Green Beret, and an active Physician Assistant... in a busy surgical practice at our community hospital. In my experience as a Health Care provider, there is one hard and fast rule for weight loss. If you want to be fit and healthier, you must put in the work. Diet and exercise are the cornerstones of fitness and health. To say I was skeptical about Thrive is an understatement. I guess deep down I really didn’t want it to work. I was definitely not a Day 1 Thriver. I got a three-day sample packet and took it according to the directions I was given... As soon as my feet hit the floor, I took my capsules... 20 minutes later I drank my Ultra-Micronized Lifestyle Mix... vanilla is my favorite! Then 20 minutes after finishing my Lifestyle Mix, I applied my DFT to a lean part of my body and I was done for the day!!
