🥇These kind of competitions are my favorite . Massive jump dyno. Disabled 4 - 5 of the holds on this problem in @aiguilleclimbing
dyno competition. Went straight to the final hold which was a pinch. Adrenaline was turned up 💯, had a bit fear factor to it. Nothing like the feeling of flying in the air. The final catch is the make it or break it.
❓To generate big jumps (dynos) successfully aside from the bare essentials I’ve learned there are 4 important factors ;
2. Fear management
Here's how it goes:
•1.Visualization- When I execute these movements the process involves analyzing & visualizing every movement down to completion of it. Its like an assessment. Every route I've ever stuck I pre-visualize it until every error is worked out in my head.
•2. Fear management - in order to do anything with risk or fear you actually never remove the fear (that's not possible) you just learn to positively manage it & conquer it. Re-framing your internal dialog , the story you tell yourself will help you manage and control your fear, In simple terms; don't well on it, commit with courage & understand your abilities.
•3. Power - Its time to execute. I generate internal power through connecting from the top of my body to the bottom. I sense each body part on each hold, I breathe in deeply, get on, pull down and push up all with a fluid motion catapulting myself towards the target.
•4 Coordination -the whole movement is like an orchestra of instruments from generating power, flying in the air to catching and griping the final target. Its interesting because it not a thinking action but more so a feeling action of chemistry

💙If you want a pay raise —> put in the extra work (you probably know what you have to do, it’s just a matter of doing it😀).
💙 If you want to be fitter —> do more challenging workouts. And do them regularly 💪💪😍. .
💙 If you want to lose weight —> pick a realistic nutrition and fitness program that will work for you long term (and find an accountability partner! #safetyinnumbers
💙 If you want to go on more holidays —-> figure out how much extra income you will need and then start saving (or pick up a side hustle like me 😀😀).
💙 If you want more energy —-> ditch the junk food and start eating clean, nutritious foods that actually fuel your body! It’s not easy but it does work (I do this 80/20 -80% of the time I am really good, 20% less strict and it works a treat). .

Something I've been told a lot the last few months is to trust the process. Trust it with injury recovery, trust it with building a base for the season, trust it at work with all sorts of new frustrations and management, etc. So I've decided to spend this winter working on my patience. All I can truly control is my attitude and the work I put it day in and day out. Both in the gym and at my job. So I've been working on enjoying the runs, enjoying the trails with my pup, enjoying cooking dinner with my best friend every night, enjoying the down time with my dogs. I'm hoping to enter this year in a much better place physically and mentally than last year. Baby steps.

When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. .
When I first saw this picture instead of seeing the healthy happy runner that I am I saw a bloated belly and an embarrassing “mom tummy”. Wrong viewpoint, I know. The reality is that I have 2 abdominal hernias and diastasis recti from 4 babies. So..... sometimes you can see my 6 pack and sometimes well, my stomach doesn’t look flat. I fixated on the unflattering part of myself and my initial reaction when seeing this pic was “delete it quick, yuck!”. Instead of deleting it like I wanted to, I saved it for a post. Although I had the negative thought, I was proud of how I quickly replaced the negative thought with a positive. Most of you are probably thinking... uh, where’s the pooch? And that’s exactly what I’m talking about. The idiocy of being critical about yourself in shallow ways that are not even noticeable to other people. We ALL, hold ourselves to an unfair standard from time to time and sometimes it’s helpful to be reminded to KNOCK IT OFF. .
I enjoy scrolling through IG and looking at everyone’s best but I also know that’s just what it is; their best. I’m Grateful for balance and prospective in life and sweet reminders to keep it in check. You are never ever defined by one picture- good or bad. #perspective

SUPER and SPRINT! Nothing makes me happier than seeing everyone go beyond expectation- in pushing themselves and in lifting each other. Congratulations to us for winning the biggest team again! But most of all, congratulations to all of the racers, in the competitive divisions and open! This was merely our first race of the year, I’m sooooooo looking forward to the many more exciting experiences THIS 2019! Sun’s out! 🌞 guns out! 💪🏻.
