I have this weak spot for kitkat and now they put it inside their buttery fragrant croissant!! 😭😭 perhaps they can consider putting kitkat chunky instead 🤣 (if they gonna put white chunky i swear i gotta get it everyday T.T)

Now let’s examine the company the Ribeye keeps. There’s a serving of hand-cut chips (a.k.a. chunky fries) dusted with herb salt, a vine of slow-roasted sweet tomatoes glossed in aged balsamic, as well as perky crisp baby romaine lettuce over which buttermilk-cured yolk is crumbled.
As for sauces, you have chimichurri, Madeira jus and aioli fighting for your attention. I must admit though, I loved my steak bare as the default sprinkle of sea salt flakes was all it needed to make my mouth water.
Besides the platter which is available from now till 31st October 2019, I suggest adding on a few of Salt Grill & Sky Bar’s offerings too. I highly recommend the fragrant Truffle Potato Puree ($19++) and the aged balsamic-drizzled Burratina which comes with pickled pumpkin, persimmon, smoked tomato and toasted seeds ($28++). The Salt Baked Beetroot Tartare and Carpaccio ($25++) is also worth a try.
As for desserts, chocoholics will adore the Textures of Chocolate ($19++) plated with salted coffee and vanilla creme fraiche but the Pavlova ($19++) was more to my taste. It is one of the nicest versions I’ve had as it isn’t too sweet and the base of charcoal meringue is unbelievably light and crunchy.

Good morning, 早尚好！Sharing my thoughts about my recent visit to 早尚好, a cafe that serves instaworthy toast. There were mixed reviews regarding the toast served in the cafe, some of us may prefer that the toast to be crispier etc. Personally, I kinda enjoy the Kimchi Pork Egg Toast (RM 8.90) which I have ordered and find that it is a heartwarming breakfast. Definitely a cafe worthwhile visiting especially if you are craving for Taiwanese style breakfast. Not forgetting that if you are looking for #ootd
shots, the areas around the cafe is definitely worthwhile visiting for you to capture some pretty photos!
Loloku // Saw the menu and went straight for Wikiwiki 2.0 ($14). First word that popped into my head the moment I laid eyes on this - BIG. The gleaming portion of mashed avocado balancing precariously atop a bed of sashimi cubes was a marvel to look at. The sashimi was decadently succulent and fresh, made more indulgent with the tahini sesame sauce it was coated in. Love the additional heat from the kimchi that undercut the buttery textures and flavours. Finished off with tobiko and sesame seeds, this was a bowl of absolute goodness.

Pullman bakery’s sourdough toast left such a deep impression on me previously so I decided to go and get more. Also got a garlic French bread which was so yummy! You can taste the wheat flour and it’s Super moist, chewy and crusty 😋 the garlic smell and taste is also wowwww 😍I think they don’t use butter but margarine instead (?) which I don’t really like 😅
I had a huge dinner and went to the hotel’s extensive breakfast buffet, but when I read about the roti canai at Mansion Tea Stall, I knew I had to get here before I leave KL.

The glorious mess of a plate has chopped up prata, curry, two runny eggs and sambal over it. It is such a joy to consume.
Add a frothy and milky tea tarik, and this is how Sunday brunch should be.
I doubt if I have the time or stomach space for anything else, but I’m so Glad I had a taste of this!
PS: the patrons here are Super friendly too. And the servers here are running around frantically to deliver food, but will gladly stop and answer questions from newbie customer!

Their classic crispy chicken is definitely my favourite of the lot 💕, where the exterior is fried to the perfect crisp while the meats remain juicy & moist inside. 💯 The chicken is also well-marinated & seasoned, making this an addictive treat! 😋😋😋 The Colonel Burger consists a simple chicken fillet (made with 100% chicken breast) with mayo & lettuce 🥬 sandwiched between seeded buns. A very simplistic burger. 👌🏻
Their crisp golden fries were decent but I personally prefer their Cheese 🧀 Fries, doused with creamy jalapeno cheese sauce, mayo & spring onions. Can’t go wrong with their classic mashed potato - a taste of childhood! ❤❤❤ Used to love it when I was young (now still!) & had it almost everyday when I had my wisdom tooth extracted! 😂

Though no oozing cheese lava, the filling is still soft and creamy. The lemon juice added helped to balance the flavours, making it so appetizing i had one bite after another😋. So glad i took this class @abccookingstudio_sg.
For all cheese lovers, I'm sure this will touch your heart! (It's not as good as pablo but good enough to impress.)

You’re welcome. 😝 Ok guys, I’m a sucker for anything that’s fragrant & spicy! (香辣) and 蛙小侠 located at 南宁北部湾 is sure to awaken your tastebuds. A popular franchise in 广西, 蛙小侠 serves up 干锅牛蛙 which is basically a clay pot of 田鸡 with spices & veggie over an open fire. That way the flavors gets stronger and tastier over time as you enjoy your meal ... 😍😝 .
One of the really unique dish we’ve had is their Marinated Century Quail Egg! 😱 You know how century eggs have a 骚味? 🥴 NOPE. This century quail egg has all the yums factor less off the 骚味, a great starter dish! We also ordered their 功夫拌面(mild spicy) & 凉拌鱼皮 (medium spicy) These tantalizing bold flavors really opened our appetite to attack our main course. *ribbit*
For Mains we ordered 2 干锅. The 青椒牛蛙 & the 蒜蓉牛蛙. One spicy & the other aromatic & garlicky. I would highly recommend to order 2 pots if you have 6-8 pax, that way you could have more variety as well! ❤️ I’m starting to fall in love with 南宁’s cuisine more and more and you can be sure to see more of their cuisine here!
