@igrannapp from @nerdy_muslim : Majority work in free mixing environment, so the question is when a non mahram tries to shake your hand, do you shake it or decline ? Is it disrespectful to decline? ..
It is not permissible for a man who believes in Allaah and His Messenger to put his hand in the hand of a women who is not permissible for him or who is not one of his mahrams. Whoever does that has wronged himself (i.e., sinned). ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃ It was narrated from ‘Urwah that ‘Aa’ishah told him about the women’s oath of allegiance: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) never touched any woman with his hand. He would explain to the woman what the oath of allegiance implied, and when she accepted, he would say ‘Go, for you have given your oath of allegiance.’” Narrated by Muslim, ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃ Imam Ahmad – was asked about a man who shakes hands with a woman. He said, No, and was emphatic that it is haraam.
So to conclude if you have taqwa, if you believe in Allah and the messenger then your iman will not let you touch another mahram, you can decline any contact with the opposite gender and explain why your religion forbids you and insha Allah the rest is in Allahs hands. ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃ credit @Pathtooparadise

The prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said: "The one who guides to something good has a reward similar to the one doing it" (Muslim)
#ThisIsNigeria where fake Pastors control an entire generation. For example, Money is taken out of the church to setup expensive universities that poor members whose Tithes & Offerings built the schools cannot afford to attend. Are they operating a Christian (i.e. Christ followers) Church or running a scam business, operating as a Cult with ridiculous unbiblical rules for its members and disguising it as a church? Is this what Christ did?
Have these men of God turn themselves into graven images that Christians now worship ignorantly? Did I hear a Pastor say, “Touch not my anointed”? You are touched ✋🏼mofockers!!! You will be held accountable here on earth and in hell! The movement has started, Christians are waking up!
Most Christians will say, no one can keep those old commandments. Christians don’t realize that our Mashyach never kept all the commandments. It’s because most were for the priesthood, some were only for men while others only for women. Some were only for a certain times during the year. Some for Nazirite vows, and others were related to the temple duties which is not kept today! They also don't realize that the 613 Mitzvot (Commandments) were more of a man-made tradition rather than an actual written commandments sent down by Elohim. These law of works mentioned by Paul, originated in the Talmud ( pharisees’s law and tradions) that were a burden on children of Israel. Please understand that the law of works is not the law of faith (torah/ psalm119:30). Please share this with your pastor, spiritual teacher, Priest and your family. All of us will fall short of the Esteem of Elohim but will be found blamelessly in the torah like Zechariah and Elizabeth ( Luke 1:6). First we must endure to the END in the torah to be saved (Matt 24:13). Shalum
Photos from the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute's 'Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination' exhibition at the 5th Avenue main building and The Cloisters
1) The show was fun to look at (as the Costume Institute's exhibitions always are), but also was incredibly boring -- lacking imagination, if you will.
2) Except for a handful of objects, the objects were constrained by the European Catholic traditions.
3) The part of the exhibition at The Cloisters was better than what was at the main building.
4) It might have been the lighting and camera shake, but they manual focus lens I used for some of the shots is not as sharp as I thought it was.
5) I get the juxtaposition of the mannequins and their costumes with actual religious objects, but it bordered on being cheesy.
6) The music in the Medieval Sculpture Hall was too much.
