Last year I spent a good chunk of time practicing portrait photography and learning my niche from what I've been used to with my nature stuff in @haugen_photography
, and working with natural, ambient light. And thanks to @royallyyounique
and her model skills and absolute patience 😅, I figured out that I definitely want to be an outdoor portrait photographer. I still have some improving but I'm beyond eager and excited for new opportunities in 2019.
Lots of people want to ride with you in the limo, but what you want is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down or when you can’t afford one.
Life expectancy is a statistical phenomenon. You could still be hit by the proverbial bus tomorrow.
So make sure you live your best life each day. Be the kind of person that doesn’t live with regret and cherishes opportunities they create and takes advantage of them to be greater. If I get hit by a bus tomorrow, my clients will not be postponed. 😱👀Another photographer or personal coach would step in and take over. The reason to grow and evolve is that it at least makes me feel not entirely replaceable. And I’m not, there’s no one that can be me, better than me. That takes work, so you have to grind. If I didn't write, or help people; I don't know if I would be able to also do photography, or even art for that matter. Taking the bus taught me how to excel, to want more, to build relationships. Are you?
I do know those special someones who make life better, who would ride the bus with me. Who partner up, level up and grew up with me. Those people now get to enjoy car services and the good life. 😉❤️🙏🏾🎅🏾
