Your anxiety is valid. (pt. 2)
We don't say chemicals are #overreacting
when mixtures explode . Then why should it be any different for the mixture of events and #emotions
that our lives are?
So, your #panicattack
are valid. Your #anxious
meltdowns are valid. And your uncontrollable #breakdowns
are valid .
But none of that #defines
you. You are more than your illness, now and always. And we're here to #support
It is important to let yourself be , be gentle with yourself. I read somewhere that if you don't #talk
to yourself the way you would talk to your best friend in a similar situation, then you're not doing it right. If you're being too harsh on yourself, if your anxiety is atleast partly self induced, try to slowdown .
I know you cannot #control
how you feel. And it's okay to expect more from yourself. Doesn't everyone want that? To be better, to be in control? But I assure you, that's a #dilemma
everyone struggles with, some just more than others. So, while your #struggle
is your own, remember you're #notalone
. Remember, the road to mental health and peace is a slow journey , an effortful journey, sometimes a straight up #difficult
We often take more #time
to come to terms with our own #flaws
and worries than to start working them. So take YOUR time, see what works for you and if nothing does at first, go back to step 1 - take YOUR time. It's slow, often hard, but secure #mentalhealth
and personal #motivation
is attainable. Be #patient
with yourself, acknowledge your anxiety, address your insecurities. Don't #bury
them, don't #swallow
them. They're your emotions and they are 100% valid.
