“From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised.”

I took this photo in between storms. It was cloudy and rainy on my drive up to the Adirondacks. When I arrived I set up at this location just in time to watch the clouds part and the sky fill with color. The next day it rained nonstop. Roads were flooded and in some spots entirely washed away and closed. Not wanting to waste a day, I hiked in the pouring rain to a pond to do some fishing. By the time I got home, I was soaked. I wedged my boots between the couch and wall so the baseboard heater could dry the boots overnight. By morning, I was ready to hike to capture another sunrise.
