Being a mom to a threenager is rough. .
But, I have to (constantly) remind myself that being the threenager is more rough. Threenagers are babies who think they are big kids.
Poor guy is adjusting to school 2 days a week, not really napping anymore (but obviously needing one), and trying to keep up with his big sibs, while trying to take care of his baby sis. This threenager is a ham, a charmer, so stubborn, and so passionate about people and sports. .
Being 3 is developmentally rough, and I need to remember I’m not the threenager, I’m the one who needs to help him through this rough stage.
The first country I ever travelled to was New Zealand.
I’m from England.
That’s a total of around 𝟸𝟹 𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴, 𝟺𝟾 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘴 flying.
One of the longest journeys you can do in the world.
Let’s get this thing started shall we!?! 🤩
I went to NZ (as well as Australia) when I was just 16 months old, back in 2002.
So I guess you could say travelling is in my blood - I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember, even though I’m only 1️⃣8️⃣ now.
Here’s a beautiful shot I took in 𝐓𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 of 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐢.
(Funnily enough, this wasn’t taken in 2002 but rather during a later visit - my camera skills weren’t quite up to par when I was two 😂).
My page will be a mixture of travel pictures and videos, as well as tips, encouragement and inspiration to learn languages!
I want each and every one of you to explore and admire all different parts of the 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘶𝘭 world we live in.
To learn about different cultures, respect them and EMBRACE them.
If it doesn’t sound like your sorta thing, no worries - have a good day!
But if it does, I want YOU to join this community.
Comment below if you’ve ever been to New Zealand! 🇳🇿✈️👊
So I tried ink and watercolour on canvas rather than paper today. Safe to say I'll be doing it again, I LOVE IT! 😭❤️❤️ For art enquiries leave a message.
