It’s so easy to claim Jesus in a time when he is recognised and known as a saviour to many.
As I spend more time with Christ and learn more about him daily, I find myself asking the same question - If Jesus came in this time would I be able to truly recognise him as the son of God or will I be one to call him blasphemous?! Would I cling to the laws, with my heart still black as charcoal? Or will I be mesmerised? Will I see love in the time that he shared with those who have been rejected by society? Or will I see it as filthy? Will I even want to be around him?
We must ask ourselves are we really celebrating Jesus because it is convenient or because we truly see no other way? If it is that we see no other way, how do we seek out the people that need to be drawn into the kingdom or do we stand on our high horses in all self-righteousness because we have just become ‘so much better’ than everyone because we now know Christ?

It is okay to take time to do what YOU want to do💖
It’s been six year since becoming a mother for the first time to my beautiful boy, and what an incredible journey motherhood has been 😭💙
I don’t blame my anxiety struggles on becoming a Mum, because they really hit following a bunch of life circumstances, when my boy was closer to one (the first year of motherhood was such a joy 😌)
But for four years, I battled an anxiety disorder, mostly with two kids in tow and it was really, really rough at times 😩 being a Mum is just so bloody challenging and when your mind is not in a great space, it’s really hard to crawl your way out when you’re also busy keeping mini humans alive! .
But the flip side is they have become my greatest motivation to sort my cray mind out and be the calmest most chill, fun hippy Mum I can be. The Mum they deserve. I know they love the change in me, and I love not yelling at them all the time. Win-win, times a million win 🙌🏽
Why is Charlize Theron the ultimate role model for body positivity and the multi-dimensional woman? On screen and off. New blog post up at thegirlnorth.ca or at the link in our bio! ✨
I agree with this so much. Its literally my life’s motto. ✌🏻At the end of every day, ask yourself, have you made progress? Have you taken yourself closer to reaching your life’s goals and ambitions? Make sure even if just by a little bit, that answer is YES.

My favorite kinds of teas are the ones that speak to me. When I open the tea bag and find little inspirational quotes or cues to practice mindfulness in the moment it gives me a little spark and helps me reset and refocus on my purpose. Find yourself some tea that talks. You will not regret it. ☕️ I just posted something new on my blog about productivity and some ways to help you stay on track. Let me know what you think. Sunrise and coffee! May every day start with a moment of clarity and stillness.
Mindfulness is simply the capacity to pay attention, on purpose, in the present moment, without judgment. Our deep conditioning, often means that we are habitually lost in thought - mostly of the remembered past or the imagined future. This often results in a deep disconnection from the moments of our lives. Cultivating mindfulness, a deepening presence in the moments of our life, allows us to see deeply into this conditioning and simultaneously to return attention to where we are: Here, Now.

What a day 🤩 exhausted and unbelievable 😂 I made it ☺️
Purpose is what is in the core of our existence here on earth. I believe we chose this life even before we are born, to get exactly those challenges and experiences that we need to elevate and reach enlightenment. It is our purpose that gives us life and it is what we are here to pursuit. No words or logic can guide you to it, no norms or anyone else outside of you that can dictate it. It is so deep within your core, so unique to your being, that only you can seize it. It’s not about going out to find it, it is about going in to find it. It does not come easily for most of us, it comes after years of work and realization. We did not choose to incarnate in this dimension to have everything planned out and served to us, that would not be challenging at all. We asked for surprises, unexpected events, times of grief, times of happiness, all to truly FEEL what it is to be human. You can stop searching outside of you for the answers, because all answers are already inside of You🌸 #purpose #soulsjourney #higherpath #northnode #lawofpositivism #meditation #dailyaffirmations #astrology #numerology #111 #1111 #444 #222 #mindful #mindfulness #positiveenergy #lawofattraction #positiveaffirmations #yoga #meditation #buddha #buddhism #healingenergy #reiki #kundalini #sohum #moonchild #hippiespirits

Staying overnight in a Buddhist monastery is a highlight on a Namaste Journey. Not only will you get to witness the daily life of the monks but also the local villagers as we take part in a village walking tour just outside the monastery.
May you be held in compassion. May your pain and sorrow be eased. May you be at peace 🌸 This week I am practising seeing the secret goodness and inner nobility in everyone I spend time with. Jack Kornfield's Wise Heart has many tales of his journey into Buddhism and small practices which open the lines of compassion. In this particular practice, he suggests that upon waking, you set a clear intention to see the inner nobility and goodness of 3 people. Carrying this intention in your heart, notice how this perception affects your interactions and mood. Continue practicing towards people you love and those you enjoy the company of less so. Offering them all unconditional love, respect and kindness "as if you were the Dalai Lama undercover" 🙏
// Funny how we might rush around and go go go with a dozen good excuses not to take 5 to meditate and then finally DO meditate for five minutes and feel the day changing benefits! This culture of "push through" is so strange and after ten years of using meditation I still have to really be deliberate sometimes to actually get down to it to meditate. I occasionally get swept up in the go go go. But when I do set my timer for 5 or 10 minutes like today and #justmeditate
finally, the results are awesome. Sometimes it's the boost of energy, peace of mind, or a strong and clear inspired idea/solution/answer comes to mind. Love that! //
I hope you have a meditation practice. I wouldn't want to live or die without mine. It's one focusing technique for alignment and flow-state to fall in love with. But if you maintain #flowstate
in perfect satisfaction, you don't need meditation. Just enjoy enjoy enjoy. For the rest of us...#anyonesmeditation

. When my kids were little and there were disagreements and I caught myself thinking that someone would just have to suck it up b/c they were gonna have to lose this time, I would say this phrase to myself over and over until the hardness in my chest softened and I could start seeing things from another angle. It helped immensely, and then I kind of forgot about it. I remembered it recently, in a moment when I was telling myself that *I* had to suck it up because as the adult it's my job to make things work no matter what I need or want. I realized that when I said the phrase years ago I rarely applied it to myself, and that it might be good to get in that habit. I used the phrase to break me out of a win-lose mindset and to create room for a win-win solution. But I've still held the belief that adults (moms in particular) just pretty much always have to lose so others can win. I want to change that now. I NEED to change that now. And so I will start including myself in the *everyone*.
The phrase, "There is some way for everyone to get what they want and need out of this situation. I don't know how yet, but I am open to the possibilities." is a piece of inner peace because it is not possible to find inner peace while telling yourself that you always have to lose so "suck it up, buttercup". And it is difficult to find inner peace while forcing someone else to be the loser as well. Peace flows so much more easily when we open our hearts to the possibility that everyone CAN get just what they want and need, including ourselves!
Adding a little mid-week zest with a funky plant (both online and in my workspace). So excited it's gardening season and I can spend my weekend getting my hands dirty in the backyard! Very few activities make me feel more grounded than potting plants and growing hearty veggies.

Also, sei mutig. Triff Entscheidungen- es gibt keine falschen. Reise.
