🌟12 WEEKS TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE🌟
So... 12 weeks ago I set out on a challenge with @slimmingworldizzie
- a challenge that wasn’t about the weight loss, but about rediscovering ourselves.
The journey of self-discovery over the past few months has been an interesting one, with ups, downs, busy work schedules, times of relaxation with friends. And ultimately, I’ve left it a lot more accepting of myself.
I’ve realised from listening to many other people that ultimately, the habits that led me to joining in the first place were developed over 17 years, and while sometimes I absolutely nail tackling them, other times it can pose more of a challenge. The important thing is I won’t give up on myself. If it takes another 17 years to continue to break them, then I’m more than happy to do that.
I’ve also accepted that sometimes it’s okay to take some time away and look out for myself. To find new self-care routines and to ensure that I put myself first when I need to.
Slowly beginning to find my grooves again, slowly finding my faith in my abilities once more - and excited to continue doing so for the rest of my life 😊 I’ll be back to posting weekly results for the foreseeable, but I’m glad to have taken that time away from the numbers and to have made commitments to lifelong change!
