The pigeons are roosting again on newspaper row. They are especially fond of the former Boston Post building (now Jewish Advocate building), which houses the oldest continuously-circulated English-language Jewish newspaper in the United States. #pigeons #goodmorning #lookupboston
Never noticed this building lit up in pretty colors before. #lookupboston
it's important to • look up • ... and i spent a good chunk of 2017 doing just that.
the last year hasn't been the best - not for me, not for many. the world is in a heightened state: of turmoil, toxicity, passion and emotion. and i tend to absorb that energy. so i spent a lot of time trying to keep things in perspective this year - to take a deep breath and remind myself that things may be tough, but they've been tougher. and when #perspective
was reaaallly hard to find, i'd look up, and soak in my surroundings. i'd admire the ceiling tiles, or the clouds, or the lighting.
i believe that, when times are hard, it's even more important to • look up • ... for when you have to stretch the hardest to find the upside, that's where you discover the most.
may 2018 be a year where things are looking up.

It's the magic yellow season at our house.
Bonus trip north. Best latest Mt. Washington Valley foliage I can remember!
It was hard to know which way to look--the sky was cotton candy glorious in all directions.
you made me a Sports Illustrated Face in the Crowd! That said, your focus was elsewhere, as well it should have been.
Lilacs. Today. Go figure.
Slow rollout on autumn foliage around here. At least the unpleasant stage of trees pre-shedding brown thirsty leaves seems to be over.
Morning glory to the max! October blues don't get any more glorious than this. 💙💙💙
It felt like an eclipse, all over again.

While waiting for the foliage to pop, Adams House offers a hint of reds to come.
Thataway to the washroom, back when Clover Food Lab was the Hayes-Bickford cafeteria.
Canada geese headed outbound in the inbound boating lane. Go figure.
Gave up on the #1
