“Wat is conditie nu eigenlijk?” We hebben het vaak over conditie, maar wat wordt er nu eigenlijk precies met dat woord bedoeld? Is conditie hetzelfde als uithoudingsvermogen?” Als we over onze conditie praten, dan hebben we het meestal over de staat waarin ons lichaam verkeert, en dan vooral over wat we lichamelijk kunnen presteren. Als iemand zegt dat hij ‘in goede conditie is’, dan bedoelt hij meestal dat hij fit is en bijvoorbeeld een rustige duurtraining kan doen zonder buiten adem te raken. Twee delen Conditie bestaat uit twee delen: de conditie die je van nature al hebt en de conditie die je opbouwt als je gaat sporten. Heb je van nature een goede conditie, dan ben je er bijvoorbeeld na een griep sneller weer bovenop dan iemand die van nature een minder goede conditie heeft. Daarnaast kun je altijd je conditie verbeteren door te trainen. Volhouden Vaak gebruiken we het woord conditie om aan te geven hoe lang we iets kunnen volhouden. Kun je tijdens een hardlooptraining het tempo van de rest van de groep niet bijbenen of ben je na het oplopen van vier trappen al buiten adem, dan heb je al snel de neiging om te roepen dat je een slechte conditie hebt. Buiten adem Maar dit is niet altijd waar. Ben je bij het hardlopen of traplopen snel buiten adem, dan kan het zijn dat je niet zo veel uithoudingsvermogen hebt. Uithoudingsvermogen is namelijk een belangrijk onderdeel van je conditie. Maar het is niet de enige factor die bepaalt hoe goed die conditie is: ook je spierkracht, snelheid, coördinatie en lenigheid tellen daarin mee. Inspanningstest Om te bepalen hoe goed je uithoudingsvermogen is, kun je een maximale inspanningstest doen, bijvoorbeeld op de loopband of de fietsergometer in de sportschool. Bij zo’n test wordt de weerstand steeds zwaarder gemaakt en ga je net zolang door tot je echt niet meer kunt. Tijdens de test meet de apparatuur hoeveel zuurstof je spieren maximaal opnemen: hoe meer ze opnemen, hoe beter je uithoudingsvermogen. Ook de bekende Coopertest is een goede manier om je uithoudingsvermogen te bepalen. Chicken and Rice Broccoli Bowl 😊 . Hi all! Today's lunch is some delicious chicken with rice 🥦/brown rice and sliced cherry 🍅. The trick to make this lunch super tasty is to nicely season the chicken and not overcook it. . Ingredients: -Chicken Tenderloins or breast (diced) -1 Tbsp Toasted Sesame Oil -2 Tbsp Coconut Aminos -1 Tsp Aleppo pepper -1 Tbsp Meyer Lemon juice -Chopped Cilantro (Optional) -Cherry Tomatoes -Riced Broccoli -Brown Rice (Optional) . How to make: 1. Season chicken with toasted sesame oil, coconut aminos , Aleppo pepper, 1 Tbsp Meyer lemon juice, salt +pepper. Let it marinate for a couple min. Add it to a hot pan and cook thoroughly. Set aside. 2. Assemble bowl. Garnish with cilantro😋
