It’s Tuesday, you know what that means! These pictures range from December 2016 to January 2017. You CAN do this. I’m here to help!
Slowly winding my way back up the Oregon coast towards Portland, and eventually home in Seattle. Bittersweet feeling as this amazing start to the year had to come to an end, but these 16 days on the road couldn't have been spent with better people.
This moment was one of my highlights from last year. I was on my eclipse road trip on my way home and was driving straight into a storm. I pulled off the road and setup my camera in the middle of a random town. It was pitch black until the lightning would strike. Photographing lightning is a gamble but also a total adrenaline rush. I was pretty far away for this shot but I felt like at any moment the storm could shift and I would be right in the middle.
🌤 A little spot we found this past weekend.. we made it just in time to watch the sunset & I find myself missing it already.
The old , the new and the newer 🇬🇧
Новых интересных мыслей нет в столь занятой жизни, а вот пару месяцев назад в путешествии по Бирме были- поделюсь заметками с телефона. 13.10.17. Was thinking about some moments when I actually felt magic. Swimming in the ocean while it rains, reading a book in an absolutely empty library, stars and mesmerizing full moon that appear when you're far away from the lights of the city, the happiness in eyes of a small kid who just received a hug from you, having a shower in a wilderness, kissing a person for the very first time and feeling those goosebumps all over your bodies, mid-autumn forest scenery with yellow-red leaves, some beautiful thoughts which accidentally come to your mind in the middle of the night.

"Fall in love with ordinary. Fall in love with the everyday. Fall in love with brown eyes and small towns and a hand full of dandelions. Discover. Discover the crevices. Read the books that aren’t so popular, by little known authors who have a lot to offer. Listen to music that makes you think. Choose art that is buried in the corner of galleries, or on the street. Teach yourself to love the small things. The special but unnoticed things. Teach yourself how the ordinary is not so ordinary after all." - S. Zhao
