The key (in my opinion that is) to a good bowl of creamy oats is ripe spotty bananas🍌 In a pan, heat up your oats with mylk/water then stir lightly. After 1-2mins, mash in the ripe banana and start stirring till it becomes super creamy πŸ˜‹βœ¨ The banana replaces sugar here as it acts as a natural sweetener. And if you’re a fan of cinnamon, add in a dash (or more) for extra flavour. But hey, we all can survive a little turbulence if we have a little faith yea? πŸ™‚ Photography and videography was a form of art which I used to express myself and my creativity.....which I probably have none left πŸ˜‚ // Ever since the algorithm change I found myself posting just so I can remain β€œin the game” but overtime it became really stressful having to constantly be engaged and ensuring my photo appears on other’s feeds. Most of the time, photos were just snap-and-go and the details weren’t well thought out. My quality of content dropped tremendously. It also became more of a β€œneed” to post rather than a β€œI want” to post which triggered a lot of anxiety and panic attacks. I then focused on @souleygreen which took up A LOOOOTTTT of my time and I was just simply overwhelmed with work and stress, both physically and mentally. I took a step back and began thinking; I used to enjoy styling my food, editing the shots and sharing it on social media to break the stereotype of Veganism. Hands down one of the best Vegan burgers I ever had 😭 I went back the next day just to have the cheeseburger again because it was THAT good πŸ˜‹ Their breakfast burrito, Oreo brownie and hot chocolate is also a hit 😍 Being Vegan in Korea is harder than I thought! Luckily my sister can converse and read ingredient labels for me. If you think you can get away with buying veggie Maggie at Lotte Mart, their ingredients will hit you in the face when everything has beef stock/seasoning or fish sauce in it πŸ˜ͺI definitely had a fair share of seaweed soup and hot pot veg with rice the past 10 days here. After not working out for 6 weeks, I finally got back to it today by starting with a slow run. Hopefully as the days and weeks go by, I'll get my strength and stamina back to push myself more to get back to my usual routine πŸ’ͺ🏼 Also at the start of this week, I cooked a huge pot of veggie stew so that I could conveniently heat it up and bring it to work for lunch or if I'm working from home, I didn't need to fuss about what to have for my meals. The best part about home cooked food is knowing what's inside your food and being able to throw all your favourite ingredients into a big pot πŸ˜‚πŸ™Š It's loaded with carbs in this one - I've potatoes, pasta, beans, mushroom and carrots... just the way I like it πŸ˜πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

4 more weeks till I start traveling again πŸ™ŠβœˆοΈ The previous time I travelled alone/with friends was to Chiang Mai in June last year - somewhere relatively closer to home. So this time traveling to Australia and taking a 8 hour plane ride alone is a little nerve wrecking but I am also excited ☺ 3 weeks away from home is not going to be easy but I know I really need this time to be alone and to explore this world while I can 🌍

This was definitely a wholesome treat for myself today at @graintraders πŸ€—βœ¨ I got their special base for this month (its really good pasta which I didn't take note of the name 😰) with lentil patty, butternut squash, sweet potato, mushroom, fried shallots and 'Asian gravy' πŸ˜›

My lifestyle the past few months haven't been the best because of my hectic schedule; skipping breakfast, eating instant noodles almost everyday and having takeaways that were loaded with sodium 😣 Now I make it a point to have oats or cereal for breakfast (back to the usual) and cook more when I'm home ☺ So today for dinner, I decided to have stir-fry tofu with Kai Lan, half an avo that sadly wasn't very ripe yet, with rice (of course), drizzled with sriracha 🌢 Two bowls did the trick and now I'm fueled up for my workout πŸ’ͺ🏼
Being Vegan doesn't restrict us from having our favourite foods nor does it make us "less human" in any way. I probably ate MORE than I have being Vegan compared to when I was a heavy meat eater πŸ˜… Back then I was counting calories, restricting and basically starving myself but now I'm all about the carbs (salads are still a no-go thank you! πŸ˜‚) and let's not forget it always follows with desserts because who doesn't like ice cream or cakes πŸ˜› And here's breakfast done right in a cruelty-free way ✨ Toast + @frysfamily sausages and scrambled "egg" made using tofu πŸ™Š What's your favourite breakfast food? ☺ // Also thank you all for replying to my insta story and sending me your suggestions on what videos I should film next!! Success isn't defined by how many luxury items you own, what car you drive or what kind of house you live in. We are currently living in a highly materialistic society and more often than not will there be someone telling you about their new "prized possession". But if you were to take that away from them, what do they have left? β€’ Everyone has a different definition of success and to me, being successful is being able to inspire others one way or another, and being the change you wish to see in this world. I'm not saying I'm the most successful individual out there but I am definitely working hard towards changing and shaping the future into a more compassionate place with @souleygreen πŸ’š Nothing beats doing this with people who share the same beliefs and values as you and I am blessed to be surrounded with people like @hello.maeve and @desmondcwl who are changing the pet industry one step at a time with @bubblypetz πŸ™ŒπŸΌβœ¨
