Honestly, I think there's a direct correlation between how many tabs I have open on my computer and how distracted I can be. My husband always yells at me because I have 10238103 tabs open at a time but for some reason, I feel like if I don't leave them open I'll forget what I was doing. I know this is irrational because if something's important enough, I'll obviously remember it. - One of my main goals right now is to find ways to increase my productivity and start to better time block my day. I'm looking for your favorite hacks, apps, tips and tricks for increasing productivity, focus and streamlining processes! - What do you have for me?

Shame about our bodies keeps us in a place of striving to be somewhere else. We aren’t present when we are struggling against what is. I wonder what would be different if we allowed ourselves to honor and accept the bodies that we are in today. Knowing that our body has done its absolute best to bring us to where we are today. That just like the ocean ebbs and flows so does our beautiful bodies. That shifts in our bodies over time are natural and that the less we struggle against those shifts and continue to honor and love our bodies the better we will feel. Restricting, depriving and shaming have not worked. What if we tried honoring and accepting exactly where we are today?
When you’ve been hitting legs hard af, doing cardio, and abs. You start to feel yourself do ya know what I’m saying?? I honestly stopped counting macros because it’s way too much time and effort. Although, macros has been to be the thing that actually works for me, but I’m trying to give my brain a break. So, for eating I just try to be mindful of my meals like having enough protein, enough carbs, and moderate fat. As long as I feel good with myself there’s no need to look like anyone else. I have to remind myself of this at least 17x per day. Hurtful, inappropriate, unhelpful and unsolicited advice is given out by well-intentioned people. These well-intentioned people mean no harm - they actually think they are going to improve your health, wellness and wellbeing by giving you said advice. # I'm not defending them - I think their recommendations can be extremely hurtful and triggering. But moment of truth (!) I walked a fine line of making some not so great recommendations for many years in the beginning of my career. # So instead of becoming 🙄 and 😤 with your friend, personal trainer, coworker, let's channel this energy into more education and advocacy for Health at Every Size and Intuitive Eating. Let's promote the importance of weight neutral approaches to health and wellness. Let's start a conversation about trusting your body and it's individual needs. Let's demoralize food {unless you stole it, then you should definitely feel guilty}🤭 # It's hard to live in this diet culture. And while you can put on the blinders it's impossible not to be exposed to it on some level. lets talk about how easy and second nature it is for us to pose in order to make our bodies look more socially acceptable. I can lift my foot, pop out my butt and position my arm and instantly my body can look more hourglass. but my body doesn’t look like that. yes it has elements but natural angles my stomach sticks out my ass isn’t as round and the quicker we face this and start appreciating that the way we are is enough than trying to replicate what we are being told is the goal the quicker we will learn to love our bodies. having a bubble butt is not the be all end all of your happiness. not having a “hip to waist ratio” doesn’t make you less worthy. idolising thick instead of excepting your fat and NOT seeing that as a downgrade is a powerful move.

🌾Steel Cut Oats or Steel Magnolias🌾 10/10 would recommend both! I tried steel cut oats for the first time this week. I remember hearing about them years ago and many times since. I keep thinking I wouldn’t like them. But I’m on a food adventure so I said why not! I kept it pretty simply by cooking them in almond milk 🥛. Added some frozen berries, sunflower 🌻 seeds, and hemp seeds on top. They are chewier than traditional oats, but I think that’s why I like them so much. After 20ish years of eating regular oats I was starting to get a little bored with the texture, so I’m glad I got out of my comfort zone and tried something new! . . Summer fruits baked proats and custard for today's fast breaker postworkout! Putting off eating until around midday is really helping me this cut💪 Recipe: 120g oats 3 eggs whites (100g) 100ml milk 25g whey (I used apple crumble and custard flavour🙌) Cinnamon Toffee flavdrops or sweetener of choice --Mix all of these together 140g frozen summer fruit in a baking dish Top with the above mixture --Bake for about 25mins on 180 Top with reduced sugar custardand sugar free butterscoth syrup😜

Especially when cooking Asian but also for a nice beetroot spread I made for the event of @Lisa.scharff today ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Miso is that magical Japanese condiment typically made by fermenting soybeans, salt, and a grain of some sort (usually brown rice) with a starter culture called koji.  The texture can range from smooth to chunky, the color from a light yellow-brown to red to dark chocolate brown, and the flavour ranges from mildly salty and sweet, to strong and very salty. The length of fermentation time can affect the flavour; so the color can be a fairly good indicator of the strength of flavor, age and saltiness. Generally speaking, the lighter in color of the miso, the sweeter (less salty) it is. The one I bought is aged for 18 months! Imagine the flavour! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Miso is packed with umami and protein, not to mention all sorts of nutrients. My anxiety is eating me alive. I can’t breathe. I’ve cried 2 times already today once at literally nothing and once at something completely irrelevant and out of my control. All I want is to turn off my phone, make some mac and cheese, and watch a Disney movie. - Anxiety has the ability to make seemly easy and minute daily tasks extremely difficult especially when you feel as out of control as I do right now. Unfortunately, I have responsibilities and need to face the numerous things that are contributing to my crippled mental state. - When people ask me for advice on this topic I don’t feel that I have very much to give. Anxiety is a part of my life that I’ve learned to cope with through intentional breathing and weekly therapy calls, but sometimes that’s not enough. - The best advice I can give is do what works for you and ask for help. Unfortunately, I have responsibilities and need to face the numerous things that are contributing to my crippled mental state. - When people ask me for advice on this topic I don’t feel that I have very much to give. Anxiety is a part of my life that I’ve learned to cope with through intentional breathing and weekly therapy calls, but sometimes that’s not enough. - The best advice I can give is do what works for you and ask for help. What do you see when you look at this food? Something sweet? A treat? Something you ‘shouldn’t’ eat? Something naughty? Something guilty? Or just very simply food? When we eat intuitively, we see this as food, nothing more and nothing less. We all use food to one degree or another for reasons other than physical nutrition. But the problem comes when food becomes the only thing we focus on to cope with whatever life has pushed our way. From my experience, whenever disordered eating (from a simple sugar binge to weeks, months or years of restriction) rears it’s head, it’s rarely food that’s the problem. An addiction to food can be an addiction to nourishment - whether that be an emotional or spiritual hunger, love, success or recognition. Any woman who seeks to end her inner hunger, needs to find what it is inside her that is unfed. It’s only by naming the hunger that she can nourish it deeply. I read this week that it’s estimated 3 in 4 women have some level of disordered eating one way or another. NO MORE. We all deserve to feel confident and positive about our bodies and we all deserve to feel nourished. Dads version of ‘healthy’ fish and chips that he made last week...although he did go a little cray cray with the oil for the chips 😂but still it was a delicious, balanced meal and I won’t say no to someone cooking for me 👌🏻😉 I am currently house sitting at the moment and I have a whole kitchen to myself, so hoping to start cooking some new meals after this busy week is over! Also, I’ve only had one coffee per day for the past two days and I’m already feeling heaps better (although yesterday was a massive struggle 💤😑😂), so hopefully I can stick to my coffee goal for this week 🤞🏻

Last night I had the final session with a remarkable family. They faced their own weight bias head on, took an honest look at their beliefs and did a complete turnaround in how they related to their son who had put on weight. I have no idea what this boy's life will bring him, but I know that his parents are going to give him a home which supports him listening to his body and modelling body positivity. I feel so humbled and privileged to be let into family's most private corners - their mealtimes - and so in awe of the transformation. I love my work. --

Правда длившем конечно задают как всегда прилично, но сегодня я себя освободила от неё, потому что сегодня день рождения у одного из самых дорогих мне человечков, моего папочки😻 Я сегодня даже проснулась в 5.30, чтобы успеть поздравить его перед работой, хотя вставать в школу мне надо было сегодня только в 9.30, и я прекрасно знала, что фига с два я снова усну) Правда я была настолько сонная, что пролепетала ему всякой фигни, даже уже не помню чего нажелала🙈 Ну а основной подарок то вечером все равно с мамулей подарим))) Кстати, кто бы сомневался, знаете что мы будем кушать? Today we go from tracking macros to intuitive dieting. Sheeeeet, i don’t know what to do with myself🌝. After 3 years of tracking and obsessing over the scales i’ve decided to give this intuitive dieting a go! I suddenly have no desire to eat anything in particular as i don’t have a specific meal or specific time to eat! I thought as i’m not craving anything, i’d just eat a little bit of everything🌝😋🙌🏽 We have... Smoked salmon, 2 eggs, curly kale, black turtle beans, avocado, chia seeds and black pepper to taste🥑🥚🥗 Since all of this IBS malarkey i’ve noticed my relationship with food fluctuate due to not being able to eat the majority of my favourite foods so i’m taking this step to see whether it works for me. A little reminder from my little sister the other day - It is important to remember that ‘Food is fuel’ @frxnkielfitness thanks for the pep talk❤️, its empowering having a sister that understands the struggle i’m going through and lives for the same FITlifestyle! I always count on her when i need some REAL advice, even if i do nause her with super long voice notes😅😘. My only rules are - 1) Stop eating when you’re no longer hungry, 2) Only eat when your hungry, 3) If you still feel hungry once you’ve eaten your meal - leave it a while to let your food settle to see whether you really are still hungry. I’m doing this because long term i know that i don’t want to live my life weighing food on the scales, and luckily i know what is good for my body, what vital nutrients it needs to function and perform the way it is supposed to, so, lets see how it goes!!! I shall be ‘VLOGing’ more on this topic once i’ve got my youtube channel up and running! Fit-tiramisù con crema pasticcera e fragole! 😍🍓🍴💪😋 Ingredienti: 4 fette biscottate (io "misura" senza zuccheri) 100 gr di albumi 200 ml di latte di soia alla vaniglia fragole fresche e fragoline di bosco (100gr circa), Stevia q.b. , zest di limone, cocco rapè e foglioline di menta per decorare Procedimento: ho fatto scaldare metà del latte di soia e metà degli albumi sul fuoco con scorza di limone e Stevia fino a farla addensare. Mentre la crema si raffreddava ho montato a neve l'altra metà degli albumi. Ho amalgamato i due composti insieme. Ho bagnato le fette biscottate nella metà del latte rimanente e ho stratificato mettendo prima una fetta biscottata poi uno strato di crema, poi le fragoline e ho ripetuto il tutto per un altro strato. Con le dosi della ricetta sono venute fuori sia la coppa che la mattonella quindi due porzioni abbondanti. Ogni porzione ha più o meno 155kcal il 58% di carboidrati, il 28% di proteine, e il 14% di grassi.
