is a way of life. But it doesn’t rule me in a negative way like every other “diet” has. I truly love eating low carb for a variety of reasons. The best reason is how I feel! For years I have struggled with extreme fatigue, hair loss, skin issues and more stemming from autoimmune disease. This way of eating has resolved all of these issues. The last issue remaining is my weight which is also resolving albeit slower than I’d like. So having some fair food doesn’t make me a cheater or take me off the wagon. for lunch! 🤤. I really wanted some crunchy chips to go with my meal, and the lupin chips are perfect. I followed the "lupin protein chips" recipe up in my highlight reel, but added in 1T ground flax and cut down to 30g flour. They turned out well!.
Als I know someone is going to mention it here, so i'll just say it now. Yes, I've tried the Quest tortilla chips, yes they are good. However, they are a little too light/airy for what I wanted today, plus they are really expensive. But truth be told, they taste like "processed junk food". And what I mean by that is...as I'm eating them I can sorta feel them triggering my inner "binge monster". That''s not the fault of the chips, they taste great, but I just can't be indulging in food that makes me want to binge eat. So I have a few bags left here and will save them for our road trip at the end of the month so I can share them with others 😊.
As for these chips on my plate, they are roughly 85 calories, 1.9NC, 4g fat, 7g protein.

This is my hydration tracker. Since having bubs I’ve not had any issues drinking water, but still, I’m a goal orientated person. 4L per day is the goal.
Perhaps it’s not the norm but because I’ve started mid way through August, I thought I would combined it with September on this occasion.
I’m actually happy with how this one turned out. The pages look so much better with the thin lines.
Keto chicken casserole bake for dinner😍 on a bed of greens🌱
1 cup heavy whipping cream or sour cream
2 tbsp green pesto
½ lemon, the juice
30 oz. chicken thighs
3 tbsp butter
1 lb cauliflower
4 oz. cherry tomatoes
7 oz. shredded cheese
salt and pepper
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Mix cream (or sour cream) with pesto and lemon juice. Salt and pepper to taste.
Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper, and fry in butter until they turn a nice golden brown.
Place the chicken in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, and pour in the cream mixture.
Chop the leek and cherry tomatoes. Chop the cauliflower into small florets. Top chicken with leek, tomatoes and cauliflower.
Sprinkle cheese on top and bake in the middle of the oven for at least 30 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked. If the casserole is at risk of burning before it's done, cover it with a piece of aluminum foil, lower the heat and let cook for a bit longer.
Green it up! A rich dish like this only gets better served with a side of fresh leafy greens. Dress them with a generous drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of sea salt

When I started my Keto journey, my daily calorie intake was 1300. But after 2 weeks, my weight changed and so did my intensity level of exercise. So, I had to recalculate. I only increased my carbs level from 20 to 25 g because it is hard for me to stay at 20 (recommended carb amount is 20 and you shouldn’t exceed 30). In order to keep track of my food, I use MyMacros. It is free to track your daily macros. Today, I managed to hit my macros goal perfectly 🙊😎🤩 So proud of myself!🤪 It looks difficult but it is not and we actually have to do this. Do you ever think like ‘Oh, I’m just gonna buy a Starbucks coffee, oh I will just buy this magazine, subscribe for this TV channel it is just $10 a month” Then, at the end of the month when you check your bank account, you would be like”Where did my money go??” This is exactly the same: everyday little by little you eat and drink things that adds up at the end of the day. If you do not count them, you will lose the track and your weight loss or ‘staying healthy’ goals will not work. All my love is for keto right now...
