So ready for tomorrow's self care day! Boy do I need it! These workouts are no joke! I have a chiropractic and massage appointment in the morning. I am planning a lot of stretching, an epsom and Himalayan salt bath, healthy foods, a counseling appointment, and whatever else I can squeeze in. I like to take Thursdays mostly off because Blake works and I don't work at DB so it's a good day to focus on me. Do you make time for you? I know that with life's stresses, I function better when I give myself true healing and down time. This month has been rough so far with Bruno's foot injury and Ezio having digestive issues again. Time to get some rest! 🖖 #healthyself#healingmyself#selfcareday#humpdaymotivation
Yoga is a dance between control and surrender- between pushing and letting go-and when to push and when to let go becomes part of the creative process, part of an open-ended exploration of your being.
Art imitates life and as yoga is an art - it is a reflection of where you are in your life-and it brings a new paradigm to the way you are living both physically and mentally/ spiritually.
The funny thing about this video is I am almost struggling to get into every pose- my transitions are indicative of how I felt at the present time, unsettled and conflicted. I’m waiting for something unknown and uncertain of something unforeseen.
Yet I still DO
I love and I accept where I am in this present moment, not because it gets me to the next- but because IT IS and so I AM
Today I choose surrender 🙏🏼
