I’m not vegan but I do love my veggies 😍 Three different drool worthy salads packed into one box? This is what dreams are made of 🙌🏼 On the right we have a broccoli cranberry salad, in the middle we have a carrot chickpea curry salad and on the right we have a brown rice and spinach salad. I usually stay away from chickpeas and rice because they make me bloated but if I know I’m going to be eating something like this for lunch I fast until noon. This has nothing to do with calories or carb intake, i just feel like my body utilizes the rice better after fasting and it reduces my bloating. I am a massive believer of intuitive eating. I eat what my body needs and it works really well for me! Every body is different and there is no such thing as “one diet fits all”. Food is such an amazing tool for health and it doesn’t have to be boring 🌱✨

I bought a pair of AirPods about six months ago and I loved them. At the time I was on #business #calls
a lot throughout the day so it was really convenient to not have to deal with the wire. The best thing was I could essentially leave them in and I’d be ready for a call at any time. I also loved them in the gym. It allowed me to put my phone other places than my pocket & not have to deal with it during some workouts where it got in the way.
After about two weeks of having them I started to get headaches. Not here & there, but constant headaches . I was thinking it was because I was on the phone a lot - and also because I have a really loud voice and sometimes when I get passionate on the phone I can give myself a headache lol. Around that same time I started seeing some of the truther accounts I follow posting the dangers of bluetooth headsets. That led me to do some more research myself & what I found out was not good.
Bluetooth technology emits microwave radiation. Yes, thats right, microwave radiation. Studies have proven that high levels of this radiation can cause brain tumors, chronic headaches, fatigue & difficulty in concentration. The FCC states that ‘low levels’ of radiation are harmless. But there have been ZERO studies showing that is the case. It really makes no sense to believe that even ‘low levels’ of something so toxic is safe.
Let’s not forget that there was a point in time when organizations like the FCC, CDC and many Doctors promoted smoking cigarettes as totally healthy when there was not sufficient data to prove that.
The worst thing about these headphones is they are right up against our brain. Due to the convenience of no wires, people tend to keep them in even longer than they would usually. This is a bad combo.

We are, quite literally, not doing well with our breathing, over here. Crazily enough, after so many years of amazing health, we’ve been behind the eight ball this month. What started out as a cold burrowed deep into our lungs, and I’m the last man standing, now on my way to Urgent Care.
YOUR WITCHCRAFT DOESN’T WORK, some might say. To which I reply, can you imagine if we WEREN’T employing all of these natural remedies as well? Dylan missed four days of school rather than the two weeks of some of his classmates. Grayson, down with a fever, still wants to know what we are going to do that’s fun today. And Marc and I, well, we could both use extended naps, but we’ll be ok. Sickness is a part of being human. And since we are more proactive these days, the reactivity comes with choice and the calm wisdom of knowing when we need to wave the white flag and get medical help. I’m not here to act like I don’t trot off to the doctor when I need to. GET YOUR STETHOSCOPE OVER HERE.

Hey guys! Here is a quick list of facts regarding the spice, turmeric! Turmeric is good for so many things, but it is best for reducing inflammation which can assist in pain relief (think of it as a sort of natural pain killer). It’s almost winter – time for crockpot dinners, cozy nights and mother nature to put on one of her most beautiful displays of color. The flip side of winter fun? Less sun. Not many of us crave more darkness. Hygge and fika trending over the past few years have reminded us that there are wonderful ways of taking the dark and cold days and turning them into cozy, candlelit, restorative months. If you can get behind these practices, winter might just become more bearable.
One thing getting cozy and lighting candles don’t solve: the vitamin D deficiency that over 60% of us face. Here’s a fascinating fact: receptors for vitamin D are present in most, if not ALL cells in the body. All the cells!
