Monday’s always make me evaluate my goals and what I wanna be achieving for the week, I think everyone needs to have goals and something to motivate them for the week.
Some of mine include; .
✨ Drinking 500ml of my new anti inflammatory tea first thing every morning to see if I notice any difference
. ✨ At least one HIIT session (done ✔️) ideally two, and four weight sessions .
✨ Hit 100% daily activity on my polar every day

on Netflix last week, I've decided to try to cut down on meats. Not going strictly vegetarian, but gonna test it out and see how I feel 😊 Plenty of protein in this meal plan though! 💪
Pre-workout: Avocado toast and peanut butter toast with hemp seeds
Post-workout: Protein shake
Breakfast: Overnight oats - banana, chia seeds, greek yogurt, walnuts, and almond milk
Lunch: Quinoa bowl with lentils, broccoli, asparagus, zucchini, summer squash, tahini and lemon
Dinner: Chili with kidney and white beans, peppers, tomatoes, and butternut squash, with some almonds on the side

Today (2.19) is the 50th day of 2018. We'll do this about 6 more times, and then we'll be ringing in 2019. ⏳😳💥
Luckily for us, every fresh week, every new day, every moment that we suddenly register the slipperiness of time, is an opportunity to check back in with our goals. Last week's #mondaymotivation
was a reminder that you can always "turn the boat around" - but how do we do it? Like actually, step by step, how do we turn it around?
1️⃣ Take a deep breath. Don't skip this.
2️⃣ Turn away/click away/walk away from whatever was distracting you, noticing the fresh air in your lungs and fresh resolve in your heart. It feels good, doesn't it?
3️⃣ Either find where you wrote down your goals and re-read them, or write down one from memory. Maybe this is a Big Goal or maybe it's something smaller that you'll check off by Friday or even by the end of the day, but make sure it's in line with your Big Goals.
4️⃣ Identify the first step. The one small thing you need to do right now to get this done. Pick up a pen? Open Photoshop? Clear some workspace?
5️⃣ Do it. Do that one small thing, and then do the next. Make today count. Make the next 50 days count. Make 2018 count. •

Have you set yourself up for success or inadvertently failure? 🥇🥈🥉 Many people during the process of setting goals will set themselves unrealistic goals that lead to failure rather than success.
Here is one of many guidelines that I've come across and used to my benefit :
Goals must be:
-EFFECTIVE - Target specific areas of your life where you feel improvement will better your quality of life.🏄🏋️🥗🎻
-EFFICIENT - Aim to achieve the most amount of progress in the shortest amount of time 🕖
And lastly, goals should follow the SMART guidelines :
[S] Specific - what do you want to achieve?
[M] Measurable - give deadlines and a degree of measurable observation so that you may track your goals.
[A] Attainable - set goals that are realistic and preferably backed by existing figures and research.
[R] Relevant - will the goal help you get where you want to be in the future?
[T] Timely - what is your deadline?
If you set your goals to a criteria anywhere near similar to this then your chances of achieving your goals are sure to flourish 🌱
