I absolutely HATE challenges!
I truly do. Do you want to know why???? They have an end date. They give you a false sense of hope that there is a short period of time in which you can reach your goals.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but when was the last time you did a challenge & kept the results you saw during that time frame?
Yeah, I didn’t think so.
Advocare 24 Day Challenge… What the hell happens on day 25?? Whole 30 Challenge… Are you still hanging on on day 40??? Even the religious season of Lent!! Don’t get me wrong. I’m a religious person, but this season has been turned into a diet challenge! Do you give up chocolate/ beer/whatever else for 40 days & 40 nights only to binge on them the second the clock strikes 12:01 on Easter morning?? Why is it that you think miracles can happen in that time frame & that you will undo everything it took months, if not years, to happen??? You didn’t gain 30 pounds in 30 days so do you truly feel it’s possible to lose 30 in 30… and keep it off??? Why are you only willing to put 30 days of effort into yourself?
SURE, you could do some crazy, starvation, liquid only, poverty macros “diet” for 30 days, but does that really sound fun?
Don’t lie! Of COURSE it doesn’t!
Tossing your entire life upside down isn't sustainable long term.
Getting healthy is a process! And for every single individual it’s a different process and it takes a different length of time and it HAS to take into consideration the individual and their life and their history and their training and their stresses and NO it will not take 24 days or 30 days or sometimes even 120 days.

The banded sumo deadlift is a variation of the sumo deadlift. It is an exercise used to strengthen the entire posterior chain including the hamstrings, back, calves, glutes, and traps.
The band used when performing banded sumo deadlifts provides accommodating resistance. This means the closer one gets to a full contraction during the exercises, the more tension is placed on the targeted muscle groups.

Not the best comparison but Wednesday will mark one year in the gym! 😳
It’s really crazy what our bodies can achieve when we set our mind to it ✨ I have never been a strong person... a year ago, I could barely even curl 3kg, let alone could I ever imagine myself as someone who went to the gym frequently and lifted weights. I am so grateful that I signed up because it honestly has made me both mentally and physically healthier 🧘🏽♀️🦋. I am keen to see how I look after another year of hard work in the gym 🏋🏾♀️👊🏾 BRING ON 2019 💥💥
This morning I pushed play and took care of me!!!! I always have felt better when I begin my day with a workout, so today, that's what I did! If I get a bonus workout in with hubs, then great! But I know that I did something great for myself already! And, I can't thank @dionnahickox

•1 dark leafy green salad / day
•100 rope jumps, 3x / day
•Add in 2 mobility movements pre-workout
•tack 5 min onto your run/row/walk/bike...
•change your go-to exercise for 3 major muscle groups
•add in two isometric core exercises (plank variations?)
•swap a starchy breakfast with one that has at least 10-20 grams of complete protein
•8 cups of water / day
•call a friend or family member you haven’t seen in a while
•hit the sack 30min earlier for a brighter you in the morning.
You can be a little healthier by Wednesday, even.
