Yes, the temperature has dropped, yes tomorrow is set to be a corker of VERY cold temperatures and maybe a touch of rain (we may be lucky though!) and yes, it is dark for the evening class HOWEVER... .
What is a little bit of cold when you put layers on and you keep moving?
What is a little bit of rain when you’re having fun and you keep moving?
And as for the dark, don’t worry, Boxfit lights up the park!
So, with all that in mind and my motto of, “Just keep moving”
who will be joining me for the 9:30AM class and the 7:30PM class tomorrow? .
After this week, you’ve only got two more weeks of opportunity to train with me in 2018 so don’t be kicking yourself come 9th December.

I’m not even sure if i have words for this yet but I’m going to type and see what happens. We went into a pig farm last night. What it really was, was HELL. I literally cannot imagine a worse life to be living than the ones these beautiful pigs were. Mothers. Babies. Sentient lives. ——
The whole time we were in there, it felt like another reality. Like “this cannot be real”. But it is. This is the reality of farmed animals. They live in torture and suffering day in & day out. Just so humans can eat their bodies.
Mothers have their babies stolen from them repeatedly. Just so humans can eat them. It was a dungeon. Darkness. And it’s like that all hours of the day. This entire facility was like something from Texas Chainsaw Massacre. But this is these pigs EVERYDAY LIVES.
This baby will die, if she hasn’t already. Quite honestly, i hope she has because she will be out of her suffering. My friend crawled in to the farrowing crate so that we could hold her and hopefully give her comfort for a moment of her life. These farms don’t care. Vet care = money lost. She wasn’t the only one sick, dying or dead- either.
PLEASE MAKE A CHANGE. This is a supply and demand industry. You vote with your dollar. They can’t supply what is not in demand.

Little Sunday night motivation for myself. This week I skipped my workouts and got ahead in my online course instead (which was very much needed). I used to freak out about not being able to workout, study, clean, cook, and be a full time mama every day but I've learned the hard way that it's OKAY if I can't do it all, all the time. Focusing more on one thing at a time works better for me (and my brain).
I cook 3-4 times a week while my fiancé cooks the two nights he's off and sometimes I'll have a sandwich for dinner 🙃
I clean when I can here and there, piece by piece. Today I cleaned the bathroom... maybe tomorrow I can do the floors? Who knows.
I study first because that's a priority and I have to take advantage of the little time Stephen is home before work to do that.
I work out when I see a chance to move, whether It's at the park with Soph or at the gym on Stephens days off.
I take care of Sophie 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and that's pretty much all I should be worried about right now so I'm pretty damn proud of myself for being able to SOMEWHAT balance shit out.
I've been MIA from the gram for a while now because honestly, I have a lot going on ... can't you tell? And I also want to make sure I'm well prepared for certain things before openly going for them. But I do promise to post some more workouts for you even if I'm not able to always be active lol.

Competition aside, having people you work out with every day not only pushes you to be better but holds you accountable! -
If you are struggling with getting to the gym, find a gym buddy (in person or virtual) that will hold you accountable, push you to be your best and get fit together!!!
Smyrna Village 10k yesterday with a 9:07 average pace, finishing in 56:38 alongside each other (though I think I slowed him down 🤔). I was 2nd in my age group and he was 1st in the 70+ age group. 🥇🥈Terry has been an inspiration to me the past 15 yrs or so, training smart, taking care of himself, and continuing to run fast. I like to think regular chiropractic care has helped him as well. 😊🤲👊
