When you think of the phrase “eating healthy” what comes to mind? Meal plans? Restrictions of certain foods? The question “Is this food healthy” is one I get asked almost daily.
I’d like to let you in on a little secret. Eating healthy doesn’t always have to suck. You don’t have to stick to a meal plan and eat the same foods everyday. You don’t have to just eat chicken and veggies. And you definitely don’t have to cut out your favorite foods.
You’re probably saying, “Yeah right Heather, so what’s the catch?” But there is no catch. That’s the great thing about flexible dieting and counting your macros. While the majority of your foods should come from whole foods (lean meats, veggies, whole grains, fruits, etc.), you can still enjoy that pizza and ice cream you crave every so often.
Eating the same foods all the time is boring and let’s be honest, can you really eat the same foods everyday for the rest of your life? Chances are, probably not.

Unfortunately, there are a few popular diets that are that misinform or tell people they shouldn't eat carbs or to eat very little in order to drop weight.
Carbodehydrates are very important for any diet! They are found in many nutritious foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grain foods, seeds and beans. These are the foods you should be eating in any diet. They nutritious with vitamins also contain fibre which is needed to digest food properly.
Experts do say that we should be cutting some refined carbs such as white rice, pasta, anything processed or things like sweets or candy.
Cutting anything out of you diet is never a good idea and will not work longterm. As we will give into carbs whatever the nutrient is eventually.

Krispy Kreme Hershey’s Gold Bar Donut! This is your typical Krispy Kreme yeast donut with caramel glaze and “Hershey’s gold” toppings. While these are very tasty, the Hershey’s Gold flavor is not there. There is a slight saltiness but it’s overpowered by the caramel. If these had actual crushed up bars, or pretzels, they would be spot on! Rate: 8/10. Worth gives them a 7. Found @: Krispy Kreme 🍩🍯🍫

🍗LOADED CHICKEN SALAD recipe coming atcha!
What you’ll need (Makes 4 servings): 🍗1 lb of boneless skinless chicken breast 🍗Salt and pepper to taste 🍗Garlic and onion powder to taste 🍇1/3 cup of Craisins 🍗4 Tablespoons of olive oil mayo 🥜1/3 cup of shelled pistachios 🌱Optional fresh cilantro to taste
All you have to do is boil and shred your chicken and combine the rest of your ingredients together with your shredded chicken and you are good to GO! Sweet and salty goodness loaded with protein and flavor 😋
MACROS for 1 serving:
Lower carbs by taking craisins out- lower fat by switching olive mayo with non fat greek yogurt or remove the nuts but…this was meant to be a loaded yet still calorie friendly chicken salad 😉

Most people love a curry but how do you make it healthy and without it be loaded with calories? Look below...
Try this for dinner‼️
Ingredients (1 serving) ✅
1x Chicken Breast
100g Cous Cous (can use rice instead)
150g Tinned/Chopped Tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala
1/2 teaspoon Curry Power
1/4 teaspoon Spice (red)
HOW TO COOK INGREDIANTS:
Using Steam Cooker
- Cook 'Onions' until golden brown
- Add in '150g Tinned Tomatoes' to 'Onions' and bring to near boil
- Add all above condiments/spices into the mix
- add defrosted/fresh chicken into the steam cooker with the mixture (onions and tinned tomatoes)
- cook on slow-medium heat until cooker whistles
- place 100g Cous Cous into a bowl and pour boiling water from the kettle over it until it drowns it slightly and let sit for 3-4mins
Ready to serve 🍛
*you don't have to have a steam cooker to cook this dish, chicken can be cooked in any other way and curry can be cooked in a pan

6 total sets of pull-ups (2 sets pronated grip, 2 sets neutral grip and 2 sets supinated grip), followed by 3 sets of dips and 3 sets of pushups, all AMRAP (as many reps as possible).
I know my form might not be the best but I was gassed already and could barely do 6-7 reps on pull-ups. The pumps I’m getting on this program are unreal!
