Speaking with our son before each gymnastics meet he had this past season, he never felt 100% ready for the Pommel Horse. He certainly put in the effort in practices, but never felt 100% ready to compete that event. He did every single time & he did just fine. He walked away from the event excited that he not only accomplished what he set out to do, but he knew what he needed to improve upon for the next competition.
