Ate healthy Monday-Friday, exercised, slept well then the weekend came .... 🤣 . . I wouldn’t say I was super unhealthy but I definitely wasn’t staying on track and consumed more than I should have for my goals! Didn’t exercise and sleeping was also waay off track! But you know what? I had an amazing weekend! No regrets 😊 . . I believe the best thing to do in these situations is to get rid if any guilt, remember all the good memories and start fresh again! I haven’t always been this confident about my body. In fact I used to be so insecure about it no matter what size I was that I would want to cry when I tried new clothes. Even when I managed to lose 30 kg it didn’t make me any happier! I kept looking at myself in the mirror thinking I am not good enough. . . Last year I decided it’s time to change. I admired all the plus size girls for being so confident and I looked up to them. That day I stopped beating myself up and started to compliment myself, even I didn’t feel like it! Day by day I started to see a change in myself. I started to wear tops, shorts, bikinis,etc. again. I even gained like 15kg but I was mentally the happiest I have been. Nowadays when I look in the mirror and start thinking about my “flaws” I try to remind myself that nobody is perfect, I am shaped differently than other women and I should love myself for who I am while working towards my goals. . . My point is, it doesn’t matter what size you are. It’s important to learn to accept your body the way it is. I believe confidence is the most beautiful accessory any woman can wear. ✨How to start eating healthy? ✨ In my opinion it wasn’t so easy to do it because of all the misleading information out there. Tempotary diets don’t work! I believe in healthy lifestyle which means eating healthy real food 80% and 20% treats. (When I restricted too much it lead to binge eating)😊 I usually eat breakfast , lunch, dinner and 1-3 snacks depending how hungry I am. Foods that I personally like to include into my daily meals are: . . Protein: Chicken, fish, meat, eggs, protein powder, low fat yoghurt, low fat cheese, beans, tofu, etc. Carbs: Vegetables, fruits, oats, pasta, wholegrain wraps, wholegrain bread, basmati rice, brown rice, corn cakes, rice cakes, quinoa, etc. Healthy fats: Avocado, chia seeds, peanut butter, almond butter, coconut oil, olive oil, etc. . Ps. Some foods have both for example salmon has healthy fats and protein, and beans have protein and carbs! 👋 . . What’s your favorite healthy meal? 😍👇
The great thing about life is when you feel like you have gone off the track - you can always get back on track! . . After almost a month living out of suitcases I can finally settle down for few months and start cooking healthy meals! Flaws aren’t real. One of our biggest mistakes in our culture is accepting that we have “flaws”. We certainly don’t have flaws, what we do have is differences. Why do we continue to blame ourselves for not looking like in the magazines or models? Because most of the images we see are photoshopped! Some people have asked me how many "cheat meals" I have. I personally like to keep my diet 80% healthy food (vegetables, fruits, protein, healthy fats and good carbs) and 20% of fun foods. Life is too short to not eat chocolate... 🙈 . I used to be so restrictive that I would actually crave the foods I couldn't have like 24/7! That's why I never say no to anything. I have treats when I feel like it but I just try to make smart choices and look at the amount. Sometimes I might overindulgence but that’s ok too! . . The most important thing is not to feel guilty about living and enjoying food! Hope everyone had a lovely weekend 💕
After burning 700 kcal at the gym, drinking lots of water, eating all my healthy balanced meals - I managed to eat almost an entire box of chocolate truffles 🤪 . . How to reduce belly fat? . . Before I explain what has helped me the most I want to explain that you can’t really spot reduce fat. Some people hold fat in belly, some in thighs... etc. I have it in my arms and no matter what I do it’s the most stubborn area to get rid of! So just remember be patient and work hard. 💕😊 . 1️⃣Eating in a calorific deficit to reduce body fat. Nutrition is the most important! It is 80% of the results if you are wanting to lose fat. This doesn’t always mean eating less, but making BETTER CHOICES. Eat lots of vegetables, protein, good carbs and healthy fats. 🍌🥕🥚 2️⃣Stay active. If you aren’t active daily then try to go for a walk, take those stairs, anything to keep you moving! 💕 3️⃣Include fiber into your diet! Your metabolism loves it. Foods with rich in fiber are avocados, oats, flaxseed, legumes and berries. 🥑🥦 4️⃣ Drink less alcohol and sugary drinks. Replace it with water! Everything in moderation 😊 5️⃣Start lifting weights! When you lift weights you have to be contracting your core muscles so while squatting you are actually working your abs too! 💪🏽 6️⃣ Get enough sleep and stop stressing! ✨How to REDUCE CRAVINGS ✨ . . I have been craving lately so bad chocolate, ice cream, anything sweet! It has been hard after Poland to get use to this “no cake for breakfast” 😂 (joking) but I would like to share what helps me to reduce and satisfy my cravings. 💕 . . 1️⃣💦 Drink water! I honestly sometimes confuse hunger with thirst so I always make sure I drink a glass of water before I eat. In the mornings I also drink 0,5l before breakfast. 😊 2️⃣Don’t buy unhealthy food! Honestly the more I see chocolate the more I crave it 🤪 And don’t go to the supermarket starving because you might end up with lots of things you didn’t plan for... 😂 3️⃣Get enough sleep! 😴 Sleep deprivation disrupts the fluctuations which can lead to having strong cravings. 4️⃣Make up some healthy alternatives! Try baking some healthier pancakes from the regular ones or doing sweet potato fries instead of normal ones, etc. I personally like to have vanilla pudding, fruit bowls, cheese flavored rice cakes 😋😋 5️⃣Eat proper meals! Don’t skip your veggies, protein and healthy fats. This way you won’t feel hungry afterwards and will feel fuller for a longer time. ☺️ 6️⃣Remember that it’s completely normal and part of a healthy lifestyle to enjoy treats! I have been feeling lately quite unmotivated to be honest. What you see on Instagram are usually highlights from other people’s lives. What you don’t see are the struggles, the bad days, the frustration... . . Getting back on track has been very hard for me as I’m all the time socializing, seeing my friends and my family - I feel like I haven’t had any time to be alone. Also I don’t want to be that friend who says after not seeing them for a while that “I can’t drink” or “I can’t eat in a restaurant” because that reminds me of the times I had an eating disorder. How long did it take for you to start seeing results from working out? . . This really depends what you are looking for. I would say if you eat enough healthy food and exercise regularly knowing what you are doing, you can see results in 4 weeks. Of course it takes more time if you want to lose a significant amount of weight or build muscle. So don’t feel discouraged after a week or two. It can take months and years to achieve what you want. Take pictures of yourself every week and compare them every month. You will see results. Just trust the progress. 🙏🏼 . I wanted to address this question because the answer isn’t that simple. I started working out aka dancing since I was a child. Back then I didn’t know what was healthy food and I grew up eating lots of Polish food and unhealthy sweets. 🤪 So basically I was being active but I was still obese because of my eating. 😆 When I turned 19 I started going to the gym. I didn’t really know what to do back then so I was doing lots of cardio. 🤦‍♀️ So nutrition and knowledge are the most important things to achieve results from working out. . . Now my goals are to lean down, gain strength and build more muscle in the future. Trust me I didn’t start working out by knowing everything, because I had no clue. I did research on my own by reading, watching videos, trying workouts, etc. I like to think that my body is still in progress. I feel good but I’m always trying to improve myself by setting up new goals. .☺️ .
