She’s so sleepy in this picture but absolutely doesn’t want to give in! She’s in the stage where she wants to look at everything and tries to scoot and talk to us. I absolutely adore her and even her fussy cries are the cutest thing ever. We are immensely blessed. • • •
2018 has been a super busy year. Pregnancy, quit my job, moved, found a new church family, had our baby, just moved again. It has also been tough but rewarding, filled with growth in my faith and self as well as in familial relationships. I’ve been contemplating what to do next, but trying to soak up every minute of Adarys. >>>
With all that in mind, I’ve also been thinking that motherhood is like a treadmill. No matter how much you want to be still in a moment with your baby, everything else is moving on. If you try to stay there, you’re just losing ground. We all know time flies and there are so many choices to make and errands to run that can be real time suckers, for worker moms and stay-at-home moms. I’m blessed to be able to stay home with her right now and I think I may be able to help alleviate some of those stresses by sharing what works for me and my family. I’m going to be posting reviews of products, things you can skip, and even lifestyle things, devotions, quick makeup vids, hauls and cooking/cleaning tips, wedding tips, general wife/life advice. I would love to connect more with other moms, and make some new friends. >>>
We all feel the pressure to be Instagram/Pinterest perfect all the time, to be the same as everyone else, to only post the best pictures and the good things, to project an ideal image. It’s great to aspire to be your best self but I will be keeping it real and raw in the process and sharing my opinions to hopefully help save all of us some money and time, so we can make the most of what we have with our families. >>>
