🌻 buongiorno a tutti! Oggi per pranzo ho deciso di provare un piatto nuovo, che mi è bastato riscaldare in padella con un cucchiaino di olio di cocco. Questa mattina ho fatto il mio solito allenamento #cardio in palestra, che è andato particolarmente bene. Mi sento più energica, più resistente. Sarà che dopo tanto tempo sto ricominciando ad ascoltarmi e a dare il mio corpo il nutrimento di cui ha disperatamente bisogno? Credo di sì. Devo ancora lavorare molto sulla mia capacità di accettare di farlo anche nei giorni in cui il mio Fitbit segna meno dei famosi 8000 passi, anche quelle domeniche in cui non mi alzo dal divano perché piove o ci sono le gare di F1 in tv, anche quando passo 8 ore alla scrivania per studiare davanti al pc. Children need about 45-65% of their calories to come from carbohydrates. At a bare minimum, they need 130g of carbohydrates per day to fuel their brains. ⠀ ~⠀ I'm not suggesting you count carbs for your kids. Just wanting to show you that it's really important for kids to have carbohydrates!⠀ ~⠀ Kids can get carbs a bunch of ways. My favorite carb sources for kids:⠀ 🍎fruit⠀ 🍠veggies, especially starchy veggies⠀ 🍞whole grains⠀ 🥜beans & lentils⠀ 🥞honey & maple syrup⠀ 🥛milk and yogurt⠀ ~⠀ My kids definitely love carbs. And again, hello everyone! Today’s wonderful sunny day inspired me to cook something unusual, fresh, bright, full of taste! What about a salad with grilled peaches and a mint sauce? ⠀⠀ ⠀Two portions: ⠀Spinach 70gr ⠀2 peaches ⠀6 slices of halumi cheese ⠀5 sprigs of mint ⠀2 tbsp olive oil ⠀2 tbsp lime juice ⠀1 tbspl of honey ⠀⠀ Wash the spinach and place on the bottom of the plate, fry peaches and halumi on the grill (I have a home electric one, but I'm sure you can do it on a frying pan) for 2 minutes on average heat. For sauce, chop mint and mix with honey, oil and lime juice. Serve with roasted pine nuts. ⠀⠀ ⠀ Wonna try already? I do! .. so I ran to eat! 😉 ⠀⠀ І знову всім привіт! I saw a cucumber and some leftover radishes and knew I had some salad components. The ground turkey I knew could’ve become patties for a burger but I didn’t want to be tempted to use a bun because I didn’t need the extra carbs, so I decided to just cook it up but to find a recipe to flavor the turkey in a savory way rather than just a typical go to type seasoning. While searching online I found a quick recipe for a plain yogurt and tahini type dressing. It did call for lemon but I only had limes and oranges... using a little squeeze of both I flavored it just fine. In the past, I might not have tried it because I was missing an ingredient, ever been there? I’ve learned that a little creativity really goes a long way.
