It takes extreme dedication to becoming an elite basketball player to avoid junk foods and eat the right foods. With pizza rolls, candy, pastries and so many other tasty snacks out there to choose from I definitely understand why many of today's young people are a little chubby or get tired easily. There is always another great snack to be eaten. But remember, it's difficult to run hills and run in the sand if YOU have to carry extra weight. And it is difficult to get up and down the court for an entire game if YOU are carrying extra weight. The top athlete's today have low body fat and slim, tight waistlines. YOU only get one body. Why not learn as much as possible about how to make your body the most explosive and strongest version of your body possible? YOU want to outlast the other players. YOU want to have the strength to stand your ground. Strength and conditioning along with nutrition is very serious business. Take the time to read and learn about how the things that YOU do in the gym and the foods and fluids that YOU put into your body impact YOU as an athlete.
