"Your moves will be misunderstood by those not meant to join you on your journey."
A concept I've only really come to fully grasp these past few months..
In my effort to fit in, I was ultimately missing out..
It's human nature to desire finding our place - no one wants to be kicked out of the safety of the tribe and left for dead - but what if fitting in, IS the thing that is outcasting you?
What if the desire to fit in, is limiting your ability to CREATE something new for others to join in on.
What if creating your OWN tribe is of more benefit to yourself and others, than that of you playing small in someone else's? ▫
Risk being misunderstood in the journey of creating your own. From a space of alignment. From a space of innovation. From a space of inspiration. Sure, it's uncomfortable going solo, but so is trying to trim the edges to fit into a triangle hole.
It's hip to be a square. 👍
Sesame street taught me that.
What else is possible?
