Almost 7 months ago I literally said “f$&@ this” and decided to change my life for the best and I haven’t looked back since! This post is proof that anyone has the ability to change there lives for the best because at the end of the day if I can do it, anyone can! If this post can help motivate 1 person or 10 people then I’ll know that it was all worth it not only for myself but for you. On June 1st 2018 I came to a realisation that being 130kg was absolutely disgusting not only for myself but for my friends and family to see me like this. Almost 7 months later, all the blood, sweat and tears and support from all my best mates (you guys know who you are) and from every single person that has motivated me along the way, On January 27th, I weighed in at 93.5kg! Over 36.5kg gone in 7 months and I haven’t looked back once! I know how proud I’ve made my family and friends and at the end of the days that’s why it’s all about. We are getting some strength back! One of the things about dieting for 40 weeks is you’re going to lose some strength! We’re back up to doing the 95’s for 6 and in a few weeks I’ll be repping these for sets of 10-12 easy. It’s a give and take when it comes to dieting. You give your strength and you take the shreds, you can’t have everything but at this point I’m still fairly lean and strength is decent so I’m happy. Now bench is another story lol it’s still weaker than a 12 year year old boy, but I’ll get there, it’s just a matter of time! On a positive note deadlifts were feeling great today! So an angry bald Dude Made A full 10 minute video hating on me and SuperHuman Pre . . PLEASE READ below as I think it is a valuable lesson for all of us who deal with obstacles (which is everyone!) . . . So this dude basically spun my words and said i’m an idiot because in my video I say the “#1 gains killer is underdosed pre workouts” (it was a Youtube Ad) . . What I mean of course is that workout intensity is a HUGE problem And motivation to workout consistently is an even bigger problem And Lack of training intensity and motivation is what is causing guys not to get the results they want . SuperHuman Pre solves that problem by giving you the most intense workouts of your life and helping you crush more workouts . . But then he decides to go on and say “this dudes a F*cking idiot, he knows that pre workout has nothing to do with results. It’s training hard, lifting heavy and eating right, blah blah blah” . . So besides the fact that his last statement about training hard proves my point lol . . When he got down to breaking down the ingredient profile with his so called “guest expert” on the show . . They really couldn’t say much negative about the formula lol Other than “why The F*k isn’t creatine” in the formula Which is for obvious reasons as many studies show that it isn’t optimally absorbed with caffeine and much better absorbed with a higher carb meal . . Anyways, The real #1 Gains killer is letting obstacles and haters get in the way of your goals! While its natural to get angry when stuff like this happens, I think it also serves a valuable lesson of dealing with obstacles and becoming mentally stronger . . What If i spent the next week crying with my cats and not working out and motivating others because i’m so angry? Well then he obviously WON . . ALPHA LION is all about overcoming obstacles and not letting ANYONE or ANYTHING take us off the path of our goals An ALPHA LION is confident AF with himself and someone else’s words are just that - words . . So I’d like to thank Mr Angry bald guy because his video is not only gonna help me make more gains in my workout this morning, but now im feeling even more inspired to help others do the same

😢I’M RETIRING . . 💪🏽My bodybuilding career is officially over . . I get asked a lot on if I compete OR why I don’t compete in bodybuilding . . I just can’t get into it for a few reasons. Nobody cares about these shows unfortunately, which wouldn’t be a huge issue but their is also the fact I don’t love it. Standing on stage and just posing isn’t my thing. Im used too competing and playing basketball . . 2nd The only division with attention and $ in it is IFBB physique, IFBB bodybuilding and you can now throw Classic physique in their now I guess . . If you’re not a clueless brotard you understand that to be top 10 in the world In any of those 3 divisions means their is a 99.9% chance you will need to take The Anabolic Chicken. I’m not talking your grandpas low dose either. I’m talking 7 Damn anabolic chicken drumsticks a day. . . 🤷🏻‍♂️I personally respect all the guys at the top in the world in each. You took a calculated risk and it paid off. Don’t even act like you wouldn’t do the same thing. What isn’t “real and “authentic” to me about B.B. as a sport is you literally need the perfect storm of world class genetics and the XL Anabolic chicken bucket to be at the top. . . For me my passion is competing and going at someone. NOT standing on stage and just posing . . I grew up playing basketball and its always been my love. Actually competing against someone and using skill that takes years to develop. Being put in pressure situations with people watching. You just can’t duplicate that excitement in BB, and at the end of the day I train my ass off to look how I want to look - not to compete for a $5 trophy . . Whadddya guys think?! The bench press is one of the main three lifts found in powerlifting and is considered a compound exercise that targets the chest (pectoralis major), front of the shoulders (anterior deltoids) and triceps. However, the most common complaint during a bench press is pain located in front of the shoulder that is usually associated with dull, achy pain. Over time, an imbalance between the front/back muscles that connect to the shoulder is created from poor exercise selection and/or technique which forces an uneven amount of pull on the shoulder joint. Poor Bench Press Technique: 1️⃣ Shoulder tilted forward (lack of shoulder internal rotation) 2️⃣ Chest sunken down and in (poor thoracic mobility) 3️⃣ Elbows flared too outwards (lack of lat activation) Proper Bench Press Technique: 1️⃣ Shoulders facing forward and stable (increases shoulder stability) 2️⃣ Chest lifted with thoracic extension (displays adequate thoracic mobility) 3️⃣ Elbows pulled down and flared outwards (lat activation) Poor bench press technique is more commonly seen in lifters with poor shoulder mobility which leads to compensation of different joints (shoulder blade, neck, etc). 🔥 Larsy and Rom's red hot tip for young players 🔥 Flat bench dumbbell tempo fly 4-0-1. A chest favourite! . . 1. Starting position: wide legs for stability, back flat on bench, hold dumbbells in neutral grip (palms facing together) above sternum with arms extended. . . 2. Eccentric phase: breathe in, with slight bend in elbows slowly lower arms at both sides in a wide arc until you feel a stretch in your chest (full range of motion), counting 4 seconds on the way down. Tip: keep arms still throughout movement, the shoulder joint should be doing the work. . . 3. Concentric phase: return to starting position following the same arc used when lowering weights, breathe out, counting 1 second to the top. . . Repeat and enjoy Mkatz team! 👊 #chestbruh

I want to introduce the “F6 Method” to Scientifically FORCE Growth in your Chest in every single section (low, mid, upper) . It’s based on the premise that the chest is approximately 60% fast twitch muscle fibers - and will react best to intense working sets in the 8-10 rep range to failure. 〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰 . F1 = FORCE Lower Chest Growth . FACT: The lower chest muscle fibers run UP! That means we pick 1 exercise where our hands are pressing DOWN and go HEAVY and INTENSE for 5 sets in the 8-10 rep range. . Then we pick 1 exercise where we can go HIGHER REP in the 15-20 rep range for 3 sets with the exact same motion - hands angled down! . I recommend the weighted dips for the heavy exercise, and the angled chest fly’s for the higher rep exercise. . A common mistake made when an individual performs the seated cable fly is the PROTRACTION (rounding) of the shoulders which is often accompanied by a thoracic kyphosis (upper back bent forward). ❌ . When protracting the shoulders the initiation and activation of the Pec Major is limited, if not non existent! ❌ . KEY LEARNING POINTS: . 1️⃣Ensuring our set up is correct before we make any movement is fundamental. Having a neutral spine and refraining from creating an inward spine (lordosis) and similarly a convex kyphotic curvature of the spine (kyphosis) is essential for greater efficiency during the movement and reducing the likelihood of injury. ✅ . 2️⃣Retract your scapula back, having the concept of pulling your traps and shoulders ‘down and back’ - This focuses the location of intended tension through the pec major, further aiding a longer TUT. ✅ . 3️⃣From a neutral wrist position slightly pronate your wrist from this position! This will roughly be half way between a neutral and a fully pronated position! ✅ . 4️⃣Ensure a strong initiation is made before moving the load. Have a conscious thought about squeezing out the base of the movement instead of ‘bouncing’ or ‘jerking’ out to compensate for the load!✅ . Ensuring these practices are put in place will not only limit the chances of injury, yet also maximise the efficiency and results from the exercise! 💪🏼 . Then descend and drive back toward them to the point your driving directly over them on the ascend for a more efficient and safer execution. Especially when handling heavier loads. .
