is the oldest banya/ bathhouse in Moscow, founded by Sila Sandunov in 1808. Representing architecture and engineering miracle, Sanduny was called "Tsar-banya" by the famous singer Shalyapin thanks to its spacious halls, outstanding fretwork, marble staircases, golden paintings and statues.
The Sanduny complex is an example of Russian bathhouse that preserved its authentic interiors, created by the famous architect from Vienna Freidenberg in 1896. Today Sanduny is known to be a unique health center for the most demanding clients. There are three bath halls for men and two for women that include pools, Russian steam rooms, and lounge rooms. Sanduny offers 8 bath rooms, Spa-center, restaurant of Russian, Uzbeki and Chinese cuisines and laundry. There is also a souvenir shop for you to cherish the memory of your leisure.
