The other day I realized my #monsteraborsigianaaurea
is growing at a pretty steady clip but I was reading someone else’s IG & they were noting how with monstera you know your out of the woods if they are putting out leaves AND #aerialroots
. Suddenly I felt kinda worried about my aurea the whole time I’ve had it it’s been doing swell but why wasn’t it putting out aerial roots?
Was it unhappy? Was my precious baby only putting out leaves at the sacrifice of root stability? Gah! Then when I was rotating it around I noticed it had done something I haven’t seen any of my other babies do...it pushed an aerial root right through its moss pole without me ever realizing it! It’s only one but it’s thick & healthy. Now I’m feeling quite a bit more relaxed that my aurea is “safe”!
Hey Fellas . Nothing special today . Just the view from on of my dry scapes ! Hardscape (Seiyru Stones )by @zoo_und_co_remscheid

Is there anything better than curling up with a good book on a cold or wet winter’s day?

Plant gang 💪🏻 I got a little crafty and decided to make a moss pole for my Adansonii and I’m pleasantly pleased with the result! It’s a lot taller than I was expecting but now I’ve just got bigger growing expections!! 😅👏🏻 can’t wait for him to sink his roots into it and hopefully give me some more holes. 🤞🏻🌿 I’ve also just noticed how annoying it is that the Fat Boy nursery pot sticks out of its cover pot.. not okay. 😒
Hydras... It took me 3 weeks and a post from @nano.addicted
to figure out what these were. Still undecided on how I feel about them
Hehe he had a fly on him head
