Seriously it is though, 6 days a week .. , tbh I’m at the gym any chance I get but with me Training inbetween my 12 hr shifts the last four days it has not been as much fun, I really struggled to motivate myself to go today.. tearing myself between getting an hours sleep or an hour in the gym ... I obv went to the gym and once I was there I was like who am I trying to kid, I LOVE this 😂, it’s genuinely like my therapy and drug, I’m so happy I went because I feel alive again and just buzzing! So when in doubt just GO !!
My week is broke down to four programme days, one bonus day ...which is great !!! Cause I never know what’s going to happen 🤷🏼♀️ #theexcitement
.. and one day where I concentrate on areas that need attention, abs and cardio ...
Talking of concentration, even as a yoga teacher who promotes mind and body connection, I myself can fall into the trap of just going through the motions, which is why I’m so glad @elysiumpt_craig
is able to pick up on these things. Once it was pointed out to me, I’ve been able to stop my mind wandering and focus again on what muscles I want to be working and it reminded me to leave my ego at the door, my purpose just now is not to see how heavy I can lift or to see how many reps I can pull out it’s about maximising the work of my target muscles. When training ,it really is beneficial to have good support!!
