Have you DECIDED to invest in your growth ?
What shows ? Do you willingly invest your time and resources in books, webinars, etc. .
I was discussing with one of the people who bought one of my books and she said to me 'My friends always want me to buy the books for them '. Now, I've worked with Youth for quite some time and I know that the MAJORITY would rather someone buys books for them. .
But listen, in order to GROW, you need to do what the MINORITY does. Only a few people understand how important it is to invest in their personal development. That also explains why only a few people are successful. .
It is a decision you must take to be intentional about your growth. You should own your journey. .
The greatest investment you'd make it the one you make in yourself. .
Please share this with a friend. .

True power isn’t gained by taking it from others. God’s power resides in Himself. HE is OUR greatest power! ~KFaith (Psalms 147:4-11)
THINGS I SAY TO MY DAUGHTER THAT APPLY TO LIFE:⠀
This particular comment was again relating to a dragonfly. I was trying to explain to her that it doesn't even really have the capacity to hurt her. But she was still scared.⠀
This statement could LITERALLY apply to the enemy. We sometimes act so cowardly in the face of the enemy. He attacks, and we retreat. BUT....He actually has no power over us, he has no say in your life, he can't actually do anything to you besides tempt and taunt you...STAND FIRM! We all know his destiny...
Read, Read and Read Some More
Writers are readers, meaning the writers life is as good as the librarians.
We need to read to know what we're doing, how we should write it, why we should write it and for whom we are writing.
We need to read the authors we want to be like, to write the stories we enjoy reading.
What a fabulous vocation we have. “Read a thousand books, and your words will flow like a river.” ― Lisa See
On the personal front, our motorhome couldn't be delivered yesterday as they couldn't get a driver. (It's not registered in NZ so we can't drive it on NZ roads yet). Now, we have a driver but they can't reach the motorhome because its blocked in. Waiting.

Your message and your destiny are those healthy, huge, juicy grapes, bearing fruit for Jesus.
Your life is not grape juice.
So there is the crushing of the grapes.
For you: Embrace the crush with joy knowing you are in the Father’s Hands.
Then there is fermentation.
For you: Rest amidst the agitation. Just as the winemaker knows when fermentation is over by the crystals that rise to the top, so God makes you His diamond in the after crush.
Then there is clarification to remove toxins.
For you: This may mean you need to remove toxic people from your inner circle.
Then the wine is poured into a barrel.
For you: “Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go.”
Proverbs 3:6 - tpt
Finally the winemaker puts the wine in a cool and dark place... some for many years before it’s opened to serve.
For you: Your times are in His Hands. You can learn to rest and abide in this place.
Quiet your heart in his presence and pray; keep hope alive as you long for God to come through for you.Plsalm 37:7 -tpt
It all starts with The Vineyard and you being grafted into the BEST VINE deep in the fertile soil of God’s Word (promises).
Despise not what you think about your beginnings full of trauma or not.
Your life is the fine wine of His Presence where others get to drink of the overflow of your devotion.
As the Vinedresser spoke to me years ago:
“Your life is the salt to a world whose lost its appetite for a loving meal at My Table...”
Today I think.... maybe the sweet wine from abiding in the Vine draws others to my Father.
Wine or salt. I still hear the Father say come, come to My Table of love and feast on the promises I freely give because My Son was broken bread and poured out wine for you.
Just some thoughts in a day of asking Him questions.

When God tells you the same thing more than once, it's time to listen up.
I'm a do-er. An Enneagram 1, perfectionist. That's my Martha side--hard working, industrious, getting things done.
But thankfully, God gave me a 9-wing of Peacemaker. The Mary side who loves to sit at Jesus' feet and soak up his truth and love.
In the middle of the night, I woke up restless. My Martha side was crying out, "Show me what to DO, Lord!"
But he spoke to both my Mary and Martha sides. He said, "Meditate on what you know to be true."
Then the Holy Spirit brought two connected verses to mind:
Be still and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10
The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still. Exodus 14:14
Since both of these verses called me to be still, I meditated on them over and over in the wee hours of the morning. They both led me to deepen my trust in the strong, mighty, powerful God who makes himself known through the Bible.
In which area is God calling you to be still today?
Sometimes we just need to take a step back, and breathe
God leads us beside quiet waters, so that He can refresh our souls - Psalm 23 has been calling out to me over the last few days, but I made a promise to God that I would be obedient whenever I felt Him stir me to pull back •
Sometimes we can fear the ”what if’s” of this world, but I choose to be faithful and to trust Papa, therefore, I am going to take a couple of weeks to delve deeper into the Word, to refresh, to renew, to meditate, and to just breathe with my family

"Heather DeJesus Yates writes an honest but encouraging account of the struggle with barrenness. In this, she joins many women of the Bible who have wrestled with the same pain. Whether you are married or single, this book is a helpful book to read if your hopes for motherhood have not bloomed the way you had anticipated. You will find much solace in these pages." — Carolyn McCulley, author of Radical Womanhood and The Measure of Success
Imagination is Gods gift to you. A dream is your gift back to God.🧡💫
What are you gifting the lord back with your life?🙌🏻 I’m so ready for more in my life - I’m believing that this season of my life will be one I look back to in awe of the answered prayers!👏
My dream for my business is to create generational wealth - I want every person on my team to be the first millionaire in their family, the first six figure earner - I want us to be known as radically generous and driven by excellence. I see an army of prayer warriors in the market place - changing so many lives! I see strong families - thriving marriages while still being able to fulfill the call on our lives. I want to be able to give to my church what I used to make in a year - a month. 💛 I want to be able to have a home that allows me to host others, and be a safe haven. I want to be able to never have to worry about my family in Cuba not having enough and retire my grandparents. I want to be able to sponsor families for Christmas - just like a family did for us when I was growing up.✨ I want to be able to help women walk in the fullness of who God calles them to be. 🙏 I want to mentor women to only launch their businesses but their ministries - the people who they are called to impact through this vehicle.💕
I see it in my heart. I believe it is possible. I am praying that the lord bring the people connected to my vision - and we lock arms an make it happen.🙌🏻 text “VISION” if you want more information on what I do 239.821.6606
Daily Encouragement ❤️ 2 Peter 3:1-2
𝐼 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 ℎ𝑎𝑑 𝑠𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑙 𝑝𝑒𝑜𝑝𝑙𝑒 𝑎𝑠𝑘 𝑚𝑒 ℎ𝑜𝑤 𝐼’𝑚 𝑑𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑛𝑑 ℎ𝑜𝑤 𝑚𝑦 𝑤𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑖𝑠 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑙𝑜𝑛𝑔.
All I’ve got to say at this point is that I’m so glad I’m not in an office where I have to get dressed and look put together. Y’all, writing a book is plum HARD. It’s messy. It’s frustrating. It’ll make you want to run for the hills and question if you’ve really been called by God.
But over and over, I’ve had people surrounding me reminding me of the importance of obeying what God has called me to do. Over and over I hear God whisper to my heart “𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐚 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬, 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞.” I want to share a couple things I’ve learned in this journey:
1.) 𝒅𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒕. 2 Corinthians 4:1 says that by His mercy, you received the ministry so don’t lose heart. If He is telling you to wait, don’t hesitate to hide under the shadow of His wings while He works a work in you that will equip you for what He’s called you to.
2.) 𝐛𝐞 𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐨 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐘 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨. If you get caught up in trying to do what you think you should do to further your calling, when it comes time for you to step out, you’re going to be so busy doing the things He hasn’t ordained. It might seem like a crazy path of obedience, but don’t doubt for a moment that He is knitting your path with His hand.
3.) 𝒊𝒕’𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖. It’s not about how successful you can be or what you create. It’s about intimacy with Him. It’s about Him removing the lies the enemy has spoken and knitting in you the truth of His word and calling out His image in you. The intimacy will create the authenticity of the ministry in which you operate. You can’t rush intimacy. Let Him order your steps because His impact will be greater than what you can do.
Have to Make Your Life Not Suck - .
I borrowed this book by recommendation from other authors I admire. The author goes through 3 separate topics of life help. Each chapter closes with a therapist friend of hers giving counsel on the topic discussed. Although Part 1 was a bit challenging for me to go through (it was all about dating and finding a husband), the rest of the book gave me a lot of to contemplate and think about. I appreciated the authors straight forward writing and tangible, practical self help advice. .
The author dissects the book of Ruth in new ways that I had never contemplated before. I’d give this a 4/5 ⭐️. .

Are you Wrtiing?
There is some protection in writing during the early hours of the morning. That is for the protection to others and not to me. Why do I say this? Because that is the time that I do the least damage. You see when I am in writing mode; I become the silent monster. It is the time that I am most likely to snap or say something inappropriate that will flood my body.
Just this morning we had to get the cats ready for their sterilization appointment. So I did not complete my word count and knew that I would have to expand into normal working hours to meet my target. One of my tribe of fellow authors who has never met the silent monster posted a very endearing image and my critical gene stepped into the arena.
Why? because I was writing a scene in my book that had an argument in it. And the final line was, “I hate you. I hate all of you.” All very well when the character is an impulsive young woman feeling the pressure of the world pulling her into a direction she does not want to go in. But not an okay attitude to bring to the social media world. I had to quickly cloak the silent monster and put it back into its writing box.
I am now a normal human being again. But disclaimer: The silent monster does come out to wreck havoc early in the morning and on Saturdays. So just to be safe, ask if I am writing before you engage. #Christianfantasy #Christianauthor
